Conrad Washington, DC reviews
19 We dinner and drinks. Food is Michelin prepared but not quite meeting the level. However,
flavors are well developed.
The staff here is amazing and very accommodating!
My wife and I stayed here during New Year's and we would do it all over again! We had a very nice view of the tree in the plaza outside the hotel.the rooms are very quiet, comfortable, and the team made our stay extra special!
The beds are comfortable. The pillows are great and the bathroom makes you want to shower all day! Loved staying here!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Conrad in DC. Would stay there again… And Staff was Amazing!
The location, room and grounds of this hotel were great. We felt safe and were very close to some nice shopping. We were also within decent walking distance of some museums. The service was great, especially in the Sakura Lounge. The breakfast in the lounge was a huge hit with our children. We stayed for our anniversary and was left with a nice little gift from the staff.
I have to admit that I'm a big fan of the Conrad brand. However, the Sakura Club and the service that me and my family and I received were something special, especially from Samia. I wasn't now planning on washington any time soon, but because of the way Samia and the staff in the Sakura's club treated us, we will definitely be back soon. (Already planning my next trip)
It was an Event I attended for the hotel staff - Corporate Chair Massage. It was fantastic!
Favourite hotel in DC by far, since it opened its doors 4 years ago. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Service is impeccable. Strong sense of hospitality. Special shout out to the Sakura lounge staff: amazing Maria and Esmith, and ambassadors Tom and Samia. Emma the chef makes perfect omlettes:) Tierney helped with room servicing - a true and experienced leader and wonderful person. Thanks for another amazing stay in our home away from home!
This hotel has my heart. We stayed in the junior suite and it was so spacious and enjoyable. The high ceilings on the restaurant floor is magestic and magnetic, makes you want to keep coming back!
A most enjoyable stay, clean rooms, very fine dining, excellent and professional service from each of the staff we encountered.
The Hotel is very nice. From the front door man to check out, and everything in between. I would highly recommend that you stay on the 10th floor and experience the Sakura Club. (an absolute first-class experience of luxury, food, service and privacy). The staff at the Club are incredibly smart and insightful.breakfast and dinner are served hot, there is an abundance of snacks, drinks. The Club is open 24 hours a day!
If you stay on the 10th floor, i would recommend not also using your Amex Fine Hotels, because you could never eat a breakfast and drink. But having both are extra special. In the end make sure that you choose the Sakura Club floor.
Finally, the only negative was that the curtains in the room did not keep he sun out entirely in the morning.
Traveling with 4 kids under 6 can be miserable, but the trip we took to Washington, DC, was the best. We stayed at the Conrad and were in the Sakura's Club. The service my family and I was amazing, Samia made sure all our needs were met. My 3 years old broke the TV. But Samia was so helpful, the TV was changed in 1 hour, she even got us a discount, she was so understandable. She definitely deserved a raised. I will definitely recommend Conrad Washington to all my friends.
Large, modern, well appointed rooms.
In the middle of the shopping district, easy walking to many places/things.
Tuesday and Friday receptions for diamond members are nice.
Estuary restaurant is great and convenient for a light dinner and drinks after our day-long outings.
Attentive and helpful hotel and restaurant staff.
I had the pleasure of staying at The Conrad in Washington D. C.while attending a conference taking place at the nearby Convention Center. The location was perfect - particularly because the weather was great.
You enter the hotel on the ground floor and take the elevator to the 3rd floor reception area. The check-in desk was always staffed and greeted us pleasantly.
I had a room on the 7th floor with a view that looked out on the nearby intersection. I have to say, I did sleep very well at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and quiet.
The hotel restaurants are on the 3rd floor lobby level and are fantastic. In addition, they have a rooftop bar that is worth checking out.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Honestly my only complaint is that every single time I needed to leave I got confused on how to go from the guest room elevators to the lobby elevator. It feels like there just needs to be one simple sign added.
Thank you for a lovely experience!
1000% Perfect. Excellent location, customer service, friendly staff, and superb dining. Exclusive shopping (Gucci, Louis Vuitton and more) are within tiny footsteps away from Hotel. Overall 5 star stay and a pleasure to see staff so happy. Kudos to Conrad.
It's very nice, but a few details were off - one of the light control panels in my room wasn't working - I asked for it to be fixed but it wasn't addressed. My mini bar was also empty when I arrived. I also don't understand why you have to take multiple elevators to get to check in and then your room, a puzzling and inconvenient decision.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and the service was EXCEPTIONAL! This has easily become our favorite hotel in the DC area. Not only did they upgrade us to a corner suite but also sent up some champagne and goodies for us to celebrate. The rooms are really clean and spacious and the bed is so comfortable! The staff here is extremely friendly and kind. The location is also excellent- a central location in walking distance to many things (restaurants and shopping and sites). We will certainly be staying here again!
We photographed a wedding at The Conrad a little while ago and were so impressed by what an awesome venue it is. With the US Capitol on one side and the Washington Monument on the other, the view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking! And the spaces inside the hotel are fantastic for really creative and cool wedding portraits!
I can only think of one other property I've ever stayed at that comes even close to the experience here.
Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and very professional. Whoever trained and manages this staff should get 5-stars.
The doorman was welcoming. The front desk staff was extremely kind and able to give me a nice Diamond Upgrade.
Breakfast was expensive, but delicious and expertly prepared. Very attentive staff.
Even the housekeeper was top notch. He complimented me on being neat and was very detail oriented. He said that he noticed I had three of the pillows on one side of the bed, and asked if I'd like him to make it up that way.
The coffee and bar-ware set up were way above average.
The next time I have a convention in DC, I won't even consider staying anywhere else!
Stayed at the Conrad DC for my birthday with my husband. We got a corner suite on the 6th floor (we are diamond Hilton members, so we asked for an up grade and was not expecting a suite). So a wonderful birthday gift.
From the bathroom to the interior wall, there were floor to ceiling windows with great views. The only minor detail was there was a run in the carpet, other than perfect room.
Valet, greeter, and front desk staff were professional and courteous.
Breakfast was fantastic, and there was a great selection on the menu. The servers were attentive and polite. The atmosphere in the dining area was very well decorated and comfortable.
I am looking forward to finding an excuse to come back a stay again. Would highly recommend the Conrad DC!
