Park Constitution Gardens reviews
17It's a beautiful historic place. Washington monument, Lincoln memorial, Vietnam memorial, pool of reflection and the Whitehouse, they are all at one place. Just parking is a bit of hassle but if you find parking you can walk along all of the places. There are ice cream trucks and soda and water vendors. There is also scooter and bicycle to rent.
It is wonderful place to have a walk. Despite its natural beauty, the place if full of monuments, and history. You can enjoy your time and also learn something by visiting important scenarios like the reflecting pool, the Lincoln memorial and the spaces and sculptures dedicated to the vietnam's victims.
Beautiful park. Shaded walkways and many incredible monuments to see. Feels like an oasis in the city. Will definitely visit again.
Gorgeous, well tended gardens with a peaceful vibe. Hard to belove it's in the middle of a huge city. Would go again.
Beautiful place all the history and movies that took place here. From MLK I have a dream speech, to Forest Gump. Forest. Jenny.
Nice little side park along the mall. There is a small pond with an island, which you can visit via a pedestrian bridge on the North side. On the island, there is a commemoration of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, divided by state. A peaceful spot, worth a visit if nearby but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.
Nice place for a strol and walk but parking sucks.
Definitely entertaining and will find amusing stuff like this
Loved my visit here. Symbolic and beautiful, lot of open spaces, just an overall awesome place to visit. Take a walk, take in the views and snap memories of this country's capital.
Memorial of The Great Abraham Lincoln, The Washington Monument and The Reflection Pool all are just marvelous. Do not forget to drive down the street as well to see the Smithsonian, the Capitol Building and so much more beautiful structures.
Carpe Diem good people.
We were lucky enough to find a parking spot really close to here. We hopped out of the car to this little gem that I didn't even know existed. So calm and peaceful we even saw a little sail boat in the water. Just so picturesque in the middle of chaos! Gorgeous!
A friend from Kosovo decided this was the day to see Wash DC. Wonderful experience. Not alot of people so our day was amazing!
Beautiful place no matter the season. W caught a winter sunset that lit up Lincoln memorial amd enjoyed the night lighting on our walk back towards the Washington monument.
Dress warm in winter, it gets breezy
A beautiful place for stroll. Kids friendly. If you are bored for any reasons, you can walk towards the Lincoln memorial and other attractions close by. Place have a great potential if a little more attention is given to it.
It’s a beautiful place! You can take a walk in to the gardens, take a sit and reed o talk to your partner. Has greatly views and flowers. I love the sign with the word amor ‘love’ in Spanish.
The only reason that it's not five out of five stars is the fact that everyone's tax dollars are funding the upkeep of these beautiful locations, but very few ordinary civilians actually live there. I would prefer more "free" attractions to be where We the People are, rather than the people who live off of our incomes tend to reside.
I am an Indian and my parents had been here at this place through a travel agency on a tour. My parents absolutely loved this place, they found it amazing to spend time here, relax and have some quality talk.
The site of the world-famous cherry blossom festival. Unfortunately in 2020 it was in the middle of the quarantine period, so the entire park was blocked off. This wasn't too bad-the car traffic was cut off but you could still walk around, observing physical distancing rules to other hikers. Curiously, they drained the reflecting pond so we could do the Forrest Gump walk across it.
The photo is actually of the Temple of Mammon, er, the Federal Reserve building.
