Atmosphere was great and food was good. The grilled wings were great. Unfortunately our waitress charged us regular prices for drinks and appetizers when she should have charged us happy hour prices.

The vibes and food was lit.babyyy if you want a chill vibe pleasee come fw it.the bartenders are sweet, servers are nice.brooke was my server she was so sweet snd conversed with us.we had the beat up fw ittt. (genuine review) will was the best manager.holla at him

Restaurant doesn’t look appealing or clean. Rice, spinach n fish were DRY. Had to drown my food in sauce n ketchup to digest such bland dry food. Bartender took 20 mins to make my beverage on a slow night. Very disappointed! Do better!

Omg Melissa Melissa Melissa! She’s such an amazing waitress. She was very patient with me because the menu has so many mouth watering options. I’m also grateful how she constantly made sure we were well taken care of; constantly checking on us and she is very big on attention to detail.
I loved the jambalaya fettuccine, the deviled eggs, and that blueberry mule smh so gooooood. I’m so mad this is my last night in DC. I will definitely be here again! Sorry, the food was so good, I didn’t even get to take any photos lol.

The food is amazing and LARGE PORTION I have to bag half of my food home. If u lucky, you will get Melissa, she is amazing and so attentive. As Chinese let me tell u that food is properly season and cooked. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Melissa was amazing. Keep the drinks coming and catered to our every need. She is honestly the backbone of this restaurant, and when you go. Request her A1 service. Excellent black owned restaurant!

Exceptional bar service. The food is fine. This spot looses 3 stars because you’re price gouging. The “service charge” doesn’t even go to the staff! You need to name the charge appropriately - a surcharge. The entree portions are astronomical. I wish yall offered a half portion option because that is TOO MUCH food for one person and the prices would be more affordable as a result. That 20% service charge is excessive and trash. I almost didn’t tip the bartender because of it. I thought it was gratuity. I’ve seen a 3% or 5% SURCHARGE.not a 20% service fee. I hate how yall do business & get the feeling you’re price gouging. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at all. The food and ambiance aint THAT special.

Will was extremely helping and welcoming to the establishment along with Lawren I really enjoyed the food

I have recommended this restaurant to so many people. If you’re visiting DC (or live there) you need to go! The food was AMAZING. I still think about the spinach crab dip to this day and the bottomless mimosas were flowing. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because the music was too loud to have conversation with your table. I enjoy the party feel sometimes but it was too loud.

Went there for brunch on my birthday. The DJ was amazing, food was really good. Only suggestion is bottomless Bloddies as an option.

I went on Sunday 10/8 for the first time. I ordered the crab Mac & cheese egg roles, catfish dinner, fried chicken dinner, and both with Mac & cheese. Both the fried chicken were cooked well & filled with flavor. I’ve had many restaurant Mac & cheese and this by far was one of the best I’ve had. Corn bread was good but did need butter. Overall I’d definitely give it a 4/5, as the food was good and the wait staff provided polite & fast service.

Melissa is a phenomenal waitress; she has a down to earth personality, made solid food and drink recommendations, very patient and constantly checked on our table to make sure we were having a great time. The food had so much flavor, the blueberry mule was made with love. We will definitely be back again!

Will was amazing get us seated and comfortable our server was lawren she processed our food and drink orders accordingly and everything was amazing! Great place to go and enjoy

Creole on 14th was a good meal. Restaurant was decently clean minus the bathroom, and server was attentive but not overly helpful. Everything comes with included 20% gratuity charge which I don't think my server was 20% good, but it's DC and folks gotta live. With that said, the food came out quickly. We had jambalaya, shrimp and grits, salmon, and catfish. Portions were large. Jambalaya was over salted or over seasoned, can't put my finger on it. Salmon and veggies were good, shrimp and grits were smothered in sauce, and catfish was enjoyable. Drinks were ok but sweet.

Lawren was our server and Will was the MOD. They ensured our experience was grand. I will be back!
