Drug Store CVS reviews
16We did not have a good experience here. The pharmacist was not very nice, raised his voice with us, and failed to offer constructive help. This is a little nitpicky, but when referring to my wife's doctor the pharmacist also kept assuming her doctor was a man despite my wife saying "She prescribed me. ", "She spoke to the other pharmacist here. ", etc.when talking about her doctor. It was just an unusually adversarial interaction.
Great experience getting passport photos taken at this location. Very friendly staff and quick service.
They are playing the absolute cheap labor policy, I received my vaccine from a "nurse" that is over 70, and he could barely hold the needle steadily, and confused my name with other patients 3 times! I'm not even sure till now if I received the right dose, and so one week after, my injection spot is still swollen! Please avoid CVS at all costs!
The Pharmacy is woefully understaffed. It is impossible to get them on the phone. I had all my prescriptions transferred to Dupont Circle Cvs. There it’s a completely different experience.
Employees aren’t wearing masks. The cashier and another employee who was unpacking stuff were violating DC law and putting pharmacy-goers at risk.
Staff is nice, but don’t even bother trying to call the pharmacy department. No one answers the phone. They must be short staffed or they turn their phone off. You can put your phone on speaker and set it down for an hour and they still don’t answer. You’re better off just going there yourself to talk to someone or get your prescriptions from the Dupont Circle CVS.
The pharmacy here is some combination of understaffed and incompetent. Almost every time I try to fill multiple prescriptions they do not fill all of them an insist it is the doctor's fault-which it never has been. I normally have to go to the pharmacy multiple times to correctly fill a single prescription due to staff incompetence.
Don't even bother calling.
I cannot communicate how poor the experience here is.
This is probably the most understaffed/under managed cvs in dc. I waited on the phone for 30 mins. No one picked up. I came back to the store at 3 after being told my prescription would be ready by noon and still wasn’t ready. I’m now waiting over 30 mins to have the pharmacist approve the prescription even though the associate says it’s ready. This store needs more staff.
Came here to get my covid vaccine and the guy at the front and the pharmacy lady was very kind and helpful.
I thought I'd seen all of the worst CVS pharmacies until I was transferred to DC. This pharmacy really takes the prize for the highest levels of pharmacy staff incompetence. Never since my transfer here in June have they ever had my monthly scripts ready, complete without issues or passed the buck to a coworker. I have a difficult time believing that any of their staff are licensed or certified in anything. Their people skills are totally absent, customer service is not part of their orientation. It's so sad that so many our healthcare companies have forced us to leave our pharmacies and move to CVS. I guess their cheap prices to our providers is well reflected in their level of service.
Go elsewhere for flu shot. The appointment system doesn’t work at all. The service is as bad as others say it is.
Quite possibly the worst CVS that exists. The staff are incompetent, the pharmacy is horrendous. I hate myself every time I visit this place, if it weren’t for it’s convenient location I’m pretty sure it’d go belly up. The store manager should be ashamed.
Terrible service! Made an appointment for a flu vaccine far in advance, checked in online, and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before a pharmacist addressed me. When I told him I had an appointment I was told I would have to wait an hour because they take walk ins and I was behind 3 walk ins. What's the point of having an appointment system if you don't respect it.
Spent almost 2 hours trying to get prescription drugs here. First trip, spent 30 mins on the line and left my prescription. I came back and was first told I should come back the next day. When I said I'll go to a different pharmacy, I was told come back in an hour. I came back and had to wait almost another hour to get my prescripting they were still trying to prepare. Make the long story short. Don't waste your time getting your prescription here.
Waited about 10 minutes for someone to help me at the pharmacy counter and there wasn’t even a line, just was being ignored, it was very odd. Eventually left without my prescription even though I could see that there was someone working back there. I called “hello? ” twice and no one acknowledged me
This has been my neighborhood pharmacy for nearly 40 years! The Store Managers and Staff are very accommodating and willing to assist in locating hard to find items. Today was greeted with a warm "Good morning. " Customer service does not get much better than this! Excellent.
