Service was good, beer was good, pretzel not worth $17. Honestly I would never have gone there if I'd known about the ridiculous 15% surcharge on everything. (And it's not the tip!) That's just a rip off. Raise your prices if you can't make a profit, or close down.

My first time there, super cute ambience that felt like a German Xmas market. However, the pricing was outrageous and 15% charge that’s not a tip I don’t have words for. Everyone was so nice that of course you have to tip, but my bill was $96 for 5 beers and a pretzel and we were there 1 hour. There were $6 beer club beers advertised and we ordered 2 but were charged $9 each. Loved the ambience but probably won’t be back, too many other comparable and less expensive places nearby.

Beautiful space for a large group, and takes large group reservations at no charge. Great food/drinks and service

Good food, good vibes, the only bad part is the hostess talks to you like you’re an idiot. Be kind or find a new job lady.

The prices have gotten out of control. They wanted me to pay $36 for a double Tito’s and soda. I guess the drink itself was $24 and then they charge a 20% service fee, some other 3% fee, and then they wanted me to tip 20% on top of all that.

We went because there was a promotion with the Washington Spirit Soccer Team before their game at 5.2 free drinks per ticket. Drinks came fast but I ordered a crisp apple pie. That took between 40-50 minutes. No word from the waiter, I just had to sit around for it to come until I walked up to their kitchen to ask where it was. The waiters refused to look at me even though I was standing at the entrance. One waiter was holding a plate and gave put it on my table. I’m not sure if it was mine but he was kind enough to deliver one. The waiters throughout the restaurant are terrible at their job. They kept giving random people the wrong orders and having to backtrack every other order to give it to the right people. They are polite, but terrible at bringing food out and on time.

The spicy currywurst was also not spicy.

Food was mediocre/bad for price. Found out after tipping there is already a 15% included service charge. So I ended up tipping 35% total with out my knowledge. Very disappointing.

I can't help but feel ripped off by the 15% service charge, followed by a default suggested tip of 20% that the server hands you on a screen and waits for you to approve. Sorry either one or the other: you can't have a mandatory service charge and pressure people into a 20% tip. Though the place was nice enough, I won't be back.

This is a wonderful little biergarten. The bacon burger with fries is amazing. The fries are crispy and soft in perfect amounts. The burger is huge with a tangy sauce and lots veg that are killer. The happy hour is all night Monday night. Great spot to watch Monday night football. The staff is super polite and helpful. Such a great find. Thanks for finding football for me and being great to an out of town guest. Y'all have a wonderful place. I also love the airstream bar and kitchen. Well played.

Beware, you'll have a great time but will (by default) be paying 15% extra for employee wages that the company isn't willing to pay. This is separate from tax. It's ridiculous.

I was told they have the best beer. However, the music was so loud and bad (heavy metal) that I don't know who could tolerate it. I just saw people leaving, so I left too. The music was heard half a mile away. It was that loud.

Overcharged my bill on top of the hidden 15% service charge. Cool atmosphere but everything else is mid. Poor service and shady practices. Buyer beware.

Inside but outside type atmosphere. This place is awesome. Covered dining with partially open roof and sliding windows. The night was warm but they had all the fans on full blast. Great concept. German beers, great happy hour both food and drinks. We had mussels, burger, Doner, Mac and Cheese, sliders, Das boot. All highly recommended.

I went early in the day when it was pretty empty but they seem built for handling large crowds and I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. The beer selection was great and the food menu was more expansive than I was expecting, would love to try it all.

Huge beers + trendy outdoor seating = killer vibes

This place hits the spot if you’re looking for a casual beer garden ambience with pub quality drinks. Maybe it was the huge beer jugs or the really heavy and salty food choices, but I would say in general it’s a bit pricy for what it is. That being said, the location and vibes are immaculate - perfect for a group gathering if a budget isn’t your concern.

Definitely seems to be popular amongst locals!

Beer is good. Good atmosphere. Very disappointing the QR code is not part of happy hour. Why advertise the code and also have a server? !
