Dimples Dental Suite, PC, Washington DC

Staff extremely rude and disrespectful. No one will answer the phone for over a week. I went out my way to go to the clinic to reschedule my appointment. As I opend the door with my mask on. A dark skin female with blue clothes (clinic staff) shout out back up don't enter I didn't enterd but she kept shouting like if I broke into the place! All I did I opend the main door to speak to someone since they won't answer the phone.

This office takes covid19 very seriously and ensured that from the door opening until I walked out I was safe and clean. The technician handled the paperwork expeditiously and broke everything down payment wise easily. Dr. Presson was very matter-of-fact and precise in how she explained things. She showed me what was going on with my mouth and broke down a plan that I need to follow for healthy teeth. I was in great hands.

Dr Presson is a great doctor at fixing three teeth. The procedure was painless and the outcome was excellent. Thank you - I can smile again!

Dr. Presson cares about people as well as her craft. The environment is lovely, I have very little to no wait time before being seen, and never feel rushed out. Thanks for all you do Dr. P!

Dr. Presson’s office is very welcoming. Her staff was polite and the design of the waiting room was very modern. During my routine cleaning Dr. Presson did a great job explaining everything that she was doing. I will definitely be back.

I've been going to Dr. Presson since she opened. I've had a fear of the dentist since childhood, but Dr. Presson does a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable and communicating her care plan in a way that puts me at ease. She is the best!

I've heard the dentist is great. Unfortunately I never got to see her because the receptionist canceled my 10: 00 AM appointment within 5 minutes of that time. I pulled up around 9: 58 but I was having difficulty finding parking so at about 10: 07 I called to let somebody know that was there and just trying to park. At the time, the receptionist, Casey told me that she had already cancelled my appointment. She was very short and seemed personally vindicated by cancelling so quickly because I had missed a previous appointment. This behavior is not professional and ultimately just generally inconsiderate.

Dimples dentist has great customer service. Professional services was provided very helpful to my dental care. I will refer family members and friends.

Dr. Presson is the best. She is very patients and didnt want me to be in any pain. She's very niece. The staff are very welcoming. They are good in making appointments around you're schedule.

Extremely professional, and made me feel comfortable as she performed my cleaning. Will definitely recommend to others.

Worst dentist experience ever!

Dr. Presson and Dimple Dentist Suite is the BEST in DC! I have been a patient of Dr. Presson since 2014 and experienced nothing but GREAT service! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Presson. First of all, she seemed rather unkind and impatient with her employees, both the woman at the front desk as well as her dental assistant. When her dental assistant and I were discussing my nose ring and she complimented it, Dr. Presson made clear that she does not like how they look at all and if her assistant were to get one she would no longer have a job. Of course I'm not here to criticize her office policies or appearance expectations in the medical field, but it seemed like an unnecessarily harsh and rude response to a casual conversation about facial piercings.

Additionally, the cleaning was unpleasantly rough. I've had many standard dental cleanings in my life and this one was far more uncomfortable than previous ones. Her scraping around my gums and flossing was painful to the point that I was gripping my hands together and my eyes were watering. (Will readily admit I don't floss regularly enough, however, I don't think this excuses the roughness that Dr. Presson used with my teeth and gums).

Finally, Dr. Presson informed me that I had two cavities in the back molars of my bottom row of teeth. I was surprised as I've never had any cavities before, though I certainly believed her as my oral hygiene is by no means spectacular. I decided to go to another dentist to have my cavities filled as I was put off by the painful nature of my cleaning with Dr. Presson. This new dentist saw me three weeks later and x-rayed and examined my teeth. He informed me that I have no cavities and he wouldn't touch my teeth whatsoever. I thanked him for his time.

I'm concerned that I almost paid over $100 (after insurance) to have non-existent cavities filled. Clearly I will not be returning.

I will note that her office, (as many previous reviews have mentioned), is lovely and her other employees were perfectly pleasant and professional.

Dr. Presson flat-out refused to forgo the use of fluoride on my teeth after I asked her not to use it. She refused to accommodate my unique needs. If you're looking for a dentist who will treat you as an individual case, I'd recommend avoid this dentist (and after my first appointment I have gone elsewhere).

I requested not to have fluoride in part because I don't feel that I need it (based on consultations with previous dentists) and because it wasn't covered by my insurance. After requesting in an email that she not use fluoride in my future cleanings, she wrote: "Unfortunately, that is not an option in my office. Fluoride is in everything that I use and can’t be removed. It’s unfortunate some insurance companies have put stipulations on its use, not in accordance with the American Dental Association or Food and Drug Administration; therefore leaving the patient with a bill. I will not alter my practice philosophy to meet the subpar standards of the insurance companies, whose ultimate goal is not good patient care but to pay as minimal as possible. I will not compromise my evidence based dentistry or practice philosophy. I can’t be unethical or malicious with my craft at the request of a patient. "

While I appreciate her evidence-based dentistry, not being willing to accommodate my needs and requests was not was I was looking for in a dentist. I have never had this problem with other dentists.

That said, her office is beautiful and the receptionist was kind. No other complaints besides being unwilling to accommodate my request as a customer.

I am so thankful for my dental experience. Very friendly office. Very thorough cleaning. The dentist and her staff were very efficient and welcoming.

My dentist experience here was great. They explain everything to you and are very patient. The office is beautifully designed, decorated, and also very welcoming. The staff are awesome and I must say it is crispy clean here. If you want great service, and NOT be overbooked like other dental offices, visit Dimples Dental Suite. You will not be disappointed.
