District Made Spirits by One Eight Distilling, Washington DC

What a great experience the facility/venue was a whole vibe. The vodka is my favorite I enjoyed an extra dirty Martini. Shout out to Black Opulence Experience for hosting a grown n sexy event tonight what a wonderful collaboration.

First thing you need to know about this place is the timing. Although google says open Fri to Sunday, they are technically open for public only on Saturday and Sunday. Friday they are open only for retail. Saying that, we rang the bell and someone greeted us and let us know that they are only open for retail and no cocktails etc.it was hot out and we were tired walking in the sun. The host was kind enough to server us all water and let us taste their bourbon & rye. The rye was smooth and the bourbon had a slice to it. We also tried their Michelle’s Gin which they exclusively created for a restaurant. It was made with notes of basil & lemon. It was the smoothest gin I had and was definitely something I had to buy immediately. So did my friend. They also do tours on Saturday And Sunday. Make sure to call ahead to schedule and know the timing as they do only specific hours. Definitely a must check out place for all the whiskey/gin/vodka enthusiasts.

Wanted to visit again without planning and reservation.
Closed.
But open for selling. Had a very nice talking with the guy and left the house with 3 bottles. Could taste it before.
So was a good visiting again.

District Made Spirits makes the best specialty bourbon in the DMV! We enjoyed Untitled Whiskey No. 12 and No. 14, as each was extremely clean, flavorful and will please both chocolate and red wine lovers. The expertise in creating these grain-to-glass rye whiskey gems shined through. Not only that, it's a great place to hang out, as Alex and Co. 's staff is knowledgeable, passionate and friendly! Felt right at home. Highly recommend coming in for a taste and/or bottle to go! We'll be back.

We participated in the Father’s Day tour, tasting and blending class - it was such an enjoyable unique experience! The District Made team were so knowledgeable and welcoming - the experience felt so personalized and totally worth it!

We really enjoyed our visit, drinks were great and the bartenders were fantastic!

My only critique would be the seating. Adding a few high-top tables to the main area would be awesome
