District Taco reviews
19Really great food! The corn tortillas here are fantastic, definitelyrecommend the tacos. The workers are always super friendly and accommodating and work super fast. Really clean store and most of the tables have outlets.
First time trying and not bad. Wasn't great. My breakfast burrito was dry and didn't hold up with the wrapping. Soda selection is terrible and awful. Hopefully next time it's better.
It’s like you’re eating salt and food on the side, I told the manager and he said you had too much pico? ! We paid $27 and going somewhere else to eat!
Look, I don't expect much from the DC taco scene. But my tacos were soggy! Soggy I tell you! The corn tortillas were soaked through, even though I was served my tacos immediately. The flavor was fine, nothing special-but tacos shouldn't be soggy.
Really cool taco spot! Fresh ingredients, quick service. The tortillas are amazing! They are also open for breakfast and also amazing good pricing.
I got the ensalada bowl for about $11. It had rice, beans, chicken, cheese, pico and cilantro. I liked the taste of the burnt chicken but I couldn't taste anything else except for the lime sauce. I could have just went to the store and bought and bought $11 worth of limes and squeezed it down my throat.
The breakfast burrito was lacking in flavor. I had the option to add a lot of toppings but wanted to taste it with just some pico de gallo. The pork carnitas were bland, almost boiled in flavor.
They listened attentively and encouraged me to come back. They were polite and patient with me, this being my 1st time ordering.
Very kind staff, they can give you tasty recommendations.
The food is really tasty and service is fast.
I would totally recommend to try the Jarritos soda
Below average, bland and overly expensive. I could get something much better at Chipotle for about 2 dollars less. I could pay about the same at Qdoba for something amazing too. I regret my curiosity about this place. Avoid.
My hubby turned me on to them. I love there salad bowls. Unlike chipotle the portions they give you is outstanding. The service is great and the taste of their food well let's just say. Twice in one day
So they just redid the restaurant and I was actually looking forward to some fresh clean food. Unfortunately I found something super nasty in my salad (a big bug). Please see the pic. I used to go here all the time.
I placed an online order for pick up at Distric Taco on 1919 M St NW, Washington at 6: 17 on 6/26/2021 throught districttaco.com and had confirmation number sent to my email. When I called the store, two times, to check if my order was ready for pick up after 45 minutes later, it took a long time for the staff to answer my phone calls and, to my surprise, they stated they did not have my order in their system both times. However, my bank was charged for the full amount of the order + tips. Now I have to call my bank to get my money back and order food somewhere else. They will take your money and won't fill your order. I just read their reviews and found another customer was in the same situation 6 days ago. He was charged for the food, but they did not make the order. If it happened once, it could be a mistake. But when it happened twice within a short period of time, it is more kinda problematic. What a shady place and poor managing system. Stay away from online ordering at this place if you don't want to deal with hassle or lose your money.
I'm visiting friends in the DC area and decided to give District Taco a try. I'm glad I did! Great service from ordering to sitting down to eat. Masks wore by the staff and the tables were spaced out appropriately. The food was fresh and delicious. It was so good that we went back a second day! I had the steak quesadilla. A must go if you are in the area
We ordered dinner and the delivery time was 45 minutes which was ok. I called 1 hour later they never dispatched a driver for delivery and it would be 25 more minutes. They said they would remake the food which it was annoying but i was still ok with. 30 minutes no food yet they won’t answer the phones and i still got charged for the food!
I got a burrito bowl. The pork was very good and they had a lot of topping choices. The salsa/topping bar was closed. (Likely covid related)
This place is comparable to Chipotle but has more meat and topping choices.
I was really impressed with this place. The employees are extremely friendly and very efficient. This place allows the customization that you get at the nationwide fast-casual burrito and taco franchises, but the ingredients seem a lot fresher at District Taco. Their hot sauce in particular is a cut above the others. It was also quite affordable for being in D. C.
Consistently one of my favorite spots with quick and very kind service. Good, clean food with great flavors without being too heavy. Good vegan options!
On our few hours stop in DC, we walked like half hour to try this place after reading the reviews. We got burritos, black bean was not enough and rice wasn't cooked, it was chewy. Disappointed.
