District Taco reviews
15Great tacos. As a tourist, this place was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing and not too pricey and service was quick. Restrooms were clean as well. Definitely try this place out if you are in the DC area.
Extremely rude woman who made my order. Just threw the bag to me whilst looking away. When I got home, i saw she’d given me all burnt chicken in the tacos and hadn’t put the hot sauce in all of them. I tried to think if I knew her because it seemed like I must’ve done something terrible to her. Then I realised I didn’t tip. That’s how it works nowadays- if you don’t tip, you get substandard service. That’s the new standard, even though I’m sure she’s getting a pay check.
Update: next day I got a fever plus other classic food poisoning symptoms. So did my partner. And it was a day we were flying too, which made it all a lot worse. High price to pay for not tipping….
The service was excellent, ordering was simple and quick, and the meal arrived quickly. We also shared chips and salsa, and I had a very good and full burrito.
The food was OK. It is expensive and serves small portions.
The Burrito Bowl was filled with lettuce.
We have had better TACOs from the truck vendors.
The floors were slippery, I almost tripped.
The 12 ounce beverages were all over $3.
It was a nice place. It had an upstairs seating area where the chairs were too close together.
Similarities to Chipotle, however food was more on the bland side. Their"California burrito" was anything but. If you've ever had a true California burrito from Nico's, JV's or California Burrito in San Diego, you'll know. The guac and salsa were good, the chips we received to enjoy the above were stale sadly. Service was friendly and fast and the business was well kept. Would go by again next time I'm in DC for a quick lunch, but not a place I'll miss when headed back home.
This place was clean, quick and easy. There is a small seating area upstairs and outside. Contactless ordering is available along with a bathroom on site. It was fairly busy and we didn't have to wait long for our food or a place to sit.
I live 500ft from a chipotle. I live 4 miles from a district taco. I just deleted the chipotle app.
I got the fish tacos, and they were very bland and dry. The shells were very thick, the sauces were not enough, and the vegetables in the pico and slaw did not feel fresh. I would not recommend getting tacos from here.
Plenty of food. My wife and I got different menu items (build your own tacos and fish tacos), but we both thought they didn't have much flavor. They were fine, but we would probably try a different taco place next time. Staff was very friendly.
Food is eatable but not tasty. You can order on screens. There were not a lot of tables and a dude came to scream at the front door and the personnel did not do anything
Maria & Carlos Martinez, super nice guys and making sure that you get what you ordered.from CDMX; Thanks!
The food here is awesome! Where else can you find a breakfast burrito at 9pm!? Great service. Nicole, the hostess was really welcoming along with the rest of the staff. Will definitely come here again.
Taco district, Mexican food from the United States, I liked the quesadillas, the burritos and then the tacos the most, it didn't matter to us that the staff spoke Spanish, they were very friendly, you order on the screens and it is fast service, it has oara consumption in the place and takeaway, this green from the natural history museum, in the tourist area there are several restaurants around that you should also consider
My first stop when I arrived in Washington as it was close to my hotel. Ordering and checkout process was a little confusing as there was no checker and I wasn’t used to ordering off a kiosk at a restaurant. I had to walk around trying to figure out where to pay and they sent someone up there. I had tacos and side of guacamole & chips. The food was very good and guacamole was delicious. I would eat here again.
Me and my friends went there for late lunch around 2: 00 pm. Out of 7 orders, they lost 3 of the orders. We waited 15 minutes before my friend inquired about it and they mentioned that someone else must have grabbed our food. We were waiting in the restaurant in our names were never called. At the end, one of my friends got his food 35 minutes later. It also seems like others were having a similar issue. There was no apologies or compensation made and it seems like everybody there was not trained properly. Food was ok but would not recommend.
