Ebenezers Coffeehouse reviews
18I've had more than the average number of mediocre coffees here.it's a pleasant place, physically, but the product is uneven and only ok at best. I had one lousy drink recently, and rather than comping me the replacement, they refunded the bag and charged me for the better. That's pretty unusual.
This place was high on our to do list while in DC. Staff, ambiance and food did not disappoint. So happy we took time to visit.
I've been here multiple times and I love this coffeehouse. People there are pleasant. I love their ham/cheese croissants! All of their lattes are done well. Sometimes you go to coffeeshops and the coffee tastes bitter but never at Ebenezers. In early 2021 until unavailable, I used to race from work to catch them before they closed to get their caramel drizzled brownie. They discontinued it but please bring it back! It's the only brownie I have ever liked. So if you're the manager or owner seeing this - Please bring back the brownie!
Creative coffees! It’s the coffee twist on a homemade cocktail. Unusual pairing don’t disappoint.
Stayed for Bible study and KFC chicken meal, salad, chips, potato bread and pastries. We are about to have a godly time.
First time visit to this coffee shop was brief, but FANTASTIC! It was one of the best flavored lattes (Honey Lavender) I've ever had. Super nice barista to boot!
First time here. I was So displeased I waited almost 15 minutes for an ice coffee and another drink even though I was the 2nd customer in line. Not to mention that the coffee is not good. I had better from McDonald’s. Never will go here again. It was not worth the 15 minutes.
Dennoch lecker. Der Laden sehr sauber und mit Außenbestuhlung.
This place is spacious! I loved having a coffee here alone without hearing what the people at the next table are talking about. A good place to enjoy a cup of coffee while doing all my work / readings in one seating. It’s very conducive.
My favorite coffeeshop in DC! It's really quaint and local and is very involved in the local community. I believe it's a faith based coffeeshop based on their bookshelf where they sell faith based books. They also have their own coffee brands that are named after DC things like the Red Line!
I always order an Americano or a Cold Brew! They have a rewards program for a free drink every 10 drinks. There is not a lot of seating, but always a lot of people, so if you plan to work or study here, arrive early to claim your spot! Parking also isn't very good as it's on the corner of a residential neighborhood, but that's why I think of it as my local coffeeshop!
Go here. You won't be disappointed.
Cute coffeeshop near the capital with nice outdoor seating and a good selection of coffee and other drinks. I tried the blackberry vanilla latte which was really unique and tasted great!
No drip coffee in the morning no cold brew in the afternoon, place used to be the best, not sure what happened
Beautiful cafe. Friendly staff. But severely understaffed. The non profit that runs this charming establishment should set its staff up for success by putting more people on shift during high traffic times.
Great staff, great environment, good music, and their turnaround time on drinks has really gone up. Perfect stop to a hectic morning commute!
This place is absolutely awesome. The best coffee that I've had in quite some time. Great customer service and you don't get the same feel from some of the more main stream coffee shops.
Love this coffee shop! All the staff are so nice and welcoming plus their coffee is SUPERB! 12/10 would recommend!
Beautiful cafe and not surprised why it has nearly 5 stars. The service is wonderful and staff is very friendly. The menu has a good variety and I like the offerings. Having nice selffserve cold water anytime is a nice option.
Goat Cheese and Mushroom Pastry: Nice pastry, I mean it tasted like how I imagined it, goat cheese and sauteed mushrooms. If you like both of them then your in for a treat, its like 3.75 I think, so its not so expensive either.
Kopi Ginger Latte: Its tasted like a ginger latte, again, I mean its good and tasted like what I imagined, ginger latte… No complaints here and it was fine to drink.
Nice place and good place to relax, chat with friends, or study. The atmosphere is just right and the misic sets a good mood. Great place~
This is an interesting coffee shop about 100 yards to the east of Union Station. There are houses on the street and suddenly there is Ebenezer's on the corner. There are a good amount of outside tables for seating and a couple of tables near the windows inside. The pastry is actually better than the tea and coffee which is not a great feature. Coffee was just OK and although they were advertising Earl Grey tea proudly at the front of the counter, they were out. We settled for OK coffee and English Breakfast tea which is not really a good sub. The cardamom kouign amann was really very nice and the mushroom cheese pastry was also good. For better coffee perhaps go for Blue Bottle inside the station.
