Él Bebe reviews
17Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I had the chips and queso to start and the Salmon entree. Really delicious. I had a "Uno Mas" draft beer which accompanied the meal nicely. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
The food is absolutely amazing, I’ve been two times so far and I’ve gotten the birria tacos, queso, quesadilla, faijtas, and crispy shrimp tacos. When I say everything was 10/10 I definitely recommend this place for the good eats and good drinks! I’m eating right now as I write this because it’s just so good. Shout out the cooks/chefs:) thank you Nixon for your great service as well
Show me the best Smokey margaritas In navy yard. Also one of the greatest bartenders! Always a great time and good drinks! #puffandpour
This was an incredibly disappointing dining experience. We game after attending an event at Audi field hoping to grab a quick bite and enjoy some Mexican food in navy yard. The service was incredibly slow, we got our food and we’re finished with our meal before we got the margaritas we ordered. We ordered a side of refried beans which arrived and were clearly just blended black beans. We never got water refills and the server basically never came to check on us. The food was decent but if I can’t eat and drink what I ordered, then what’s the point? We were hoping this would be our new spot but it was just another disappointment.
MY 2nd HOME!
I COME HERE OFTEN! EVER SINCE I DISCOVERED THIS PLACE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE FIRST BITE. GUACAMOLE & CHIPS ARE AMAZING WITH THE TAJIN SPRINKLE. I USUALLY ORDER 2 BOWLS OF GUAC. DRINKS ARE ON POINT. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY ONLY RIM THE GLASS SLIGHTLY. NICE TOUCH
THE BIRRIA TACO HAD ME DROOLING. STEWED CHICKEN QUESADILLA IS VERY TASTY! I ALSO TRIED THEIR STEAK/SHRIMP FAJITA AND BOY OH BOY WHAT A TREAT!
THANK YOU ÉL BEBE! I NOW CONSIDER MYSELF A REGULAR AND I’M PROUD OF IT
SERVICE IS ALWAYS STELLAR! GO HERE IF YOU WANT SOME FLAVOR AND A FULL STOMACH
They charged me $35 for this tiny carry out bottle of classic margarita and claimed it served 4 people. Absolute robbery. Barely filled 2 wine glasses.
El Bebe never disappoints. Whether your going for a quick bite or outing with friends. Food, drinks, and, service all 10/10. I recommend the queso w/chips and shrimp tacos. So good!
Everyone in our group loved the food. One had a burrito and said was the best he ever had. Everyone who had tacos enjoyed them. Beer menu was a bit limited, but everyone found something. Not a great place for large group, took us a long time and we were willing to split up. And they limited how many cards and wouldn't let us split the bill at all. Servers were nice. I think may be the curse of many restaurants that are short staffed, but was a bit slow. But the food made up for many things.
My friend and I swung by to enjoy the Happy Hour specials. The passion fruit Margarita and the Nachos were really good! Just exactly what what we were looking for an early evening start.
Coming from Cali, I'll say that these Barria tacos are the busness! Drinks where on Point! Service was 5* Good people here good vibe
I used to love El bebe but the food is just not the same as it used to be. Not sure if it’s new management or cooks? It’s just not great anymore.
Wow! This place was amazing. The proportion of the rice and the beans. We had pork belly & chicken tinga tacos. It was amazing. The appetizer of the trio dips & chips. & the drinks are to die for!
The only down fall is the churro doughnuts. I feel like it’s too oily and not as flavorful. I wish they had a better selection of desserts.
Beautiful space, friendly service, delicious food and cocktails.
Multiple good choices that are gluten free.
El Bebe is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Whenever my husband and I need to seriously unwind, we grab margaritas and chips here, they’re the best! The tacos and quesadillas are delicious too. We love the atmosphere and the prices aren’t bad!
I honestly don’t understand all these high reviews. Perhaps we went on an off night or chefs night off on a Sunday.
The service was fantastic, but the food left much to be desired. The food was massively over salted, not particularly fresh, and the portions are small. We got the steak fajita which was the best dish, though small at 6 ounces of meat. The Chicken Tinga enchiladas, the saltiest one of all, and the shrimp quesadillas which were almost disgusting due to how barely fresh the shrimp was. Seafood is very telling in terms of freshness, and this shrimp was on the verge of turning rotten. It was not my dish, I only tasted it towards the end and was a little concerned that my child ate it all since it was masked it with delicious sour cream.
This morning my child is currently throwing up. Not sure if it’s the shrimp quesadillas or if she picked up a stomach bug.
But regardless of that, in terms of flavor, food quality, and value for money, I’m not a fan.
Something about this places just misses the mark. The service isn’t that good, the food isn’t authentic, even the drinks take forever to make. Maybe they’re understaffed but it’s just not a vibe.
I love this place. Love. It. Every experience with food and service is top notch. My reviews show I'm not a 5-star rater but El Bebe deserves it. My photo is of sangria which isn't on the menu but I asked and they made me. Came two weeks with seven people, great. Came today with nine people, great. Recommendation for three people. Order different tacos and share, you won't be disappointed.
