Elsa Ethiopian Kitchen reviews
11 Delicious food, great size for sharing with friends. The fish goulsah was amazing!
Lovely staff.
Best food with an amazing service! We went there as a group of seven, the place was beautifully decorated and the servers were incredibly helpful with menu choice! The food was delicious, everyone in the group had a wonderful dinning experience!
Really fantastic! Love the veggie platter best food in washington dc.love u elsa thank you for an amazing meal!
I love the food at this family run restaurant in Woodley Park. A special spot that’s so much fun to get a group together to share.
Great Food! Helpful staff, chef came out and spoke with us about preparations and ingredients. As a professional chef myself I was impressed by the amazing cuisine and their openness to discuss it. They sent me off with a bag of bebere, a unique Ethiopian chili powder. Absolutely one of the best restraunt experiences I've had.
Dined at Elsa for the first time last night and it was terrific. The first two bites - lentil dishes from the vegetarian combo - said that this place is special. These are standard dishes, but at Elsa they have an unusually rich flavor. And the Beef Awaze was tender, succulent and so tasty! We'll be back soon.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was brought out quickly after ordering, but we were able to relax and take our time. Food was delicious. Menu was easy to read, staff was helpful in choosing.
A welcome addition to the neighborhood! Great food! Interior could use some improvement but that doesn’t stop me going!
Our family has eaten at quite a few of DC’s Ethiopian restaurants, and is always eager to try a new place. Especially, if it is in our own neighborhood. We cook Ethiopian food at home and have a critical palate for the flavors and dishes each restaurant has served. “Elsa” lived up to our expectations. The flavors are big. The dishes we ordered were deliciousness. With the support of Ben who is the owner, the service was spectacular. We look forward to a second visit.
We love Ethiopian food and have been all over town and this was great! There were new dishes to try, the server was friendly and the food was delicious.
