Nice place but they require a 25 $ daily spending in the hotel, charged anyway even if you do not need anything! Unbelievable for us!

Stayed for 5 nights and room was not cleaned once. Was not told at check in that housekeeping had to be opted in to. The man who checks your bags if you need them held is rude. The front desk refused to give my coworker an extra bottle of water. Would not stay here again, despite big breakfast buffet and happy hour - even these perks don’t make it worth it.

Room does not feel clean - partially because it's old.
Refrigerator was broken. Bathroom ventilation is non-existent (gets very foggy + there is a fungus on the walls).
Bar service is terrible (they are nice but wait time to get food is 1.5h which is really below any standards).
Hotel is overpriced for what it offers, not to mention additional charges that were not mentioned before booking (destination charge $25, parking $37 / night).

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Washington DC Georgetown from [dates] and unfortunately found it fell short of expectations. While the hotel condition itself was decent, we encountered multiple issues that negatively impacted our stay.

The first drawback was the parking fee of $44 per night, which was not disclosed to us when booking on Expedia. I thought the total price I was quoted included parking, so this surprise charge at check-in was frustrating.

Our hotel room also had some functional problems, including a broken refrigerator and sofa bed that didn't close properly. While the staff eventually fixed these issues, it required multiple requests on our part and wasted valuable time. Having a working fridge was critical for storing milk and food for my young children.

However, the worst part of our stay was the terrible customer service in the hotel restaurant. When my 2-year-old spilled salt on his plate, a staff member reprimanded him harshly and caused him to cry. Not only was her behavior inappropriate, but the hotel management also failed to address the situation or offer any apologies. This confrontation left us feeling very unwelcome.

Considering the various issues we faced, I cannot recommend staying at Embassy Suites Georgetown, especially for families with young children. The hotel facilities were acceptable but the customer service and lack of responsiveness to problems really affected our trip. I would rate this hotel 2/5 stars. In the future, I will look for accommodations that offer better value and treatment of guests.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and the staff was exceptional. Especially Abda in the front desk went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is very lucky to have her.

The hotel is also very conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants, and also walking distance to both Georgetown and all the famous monuments and sites in DC.

I was visiting a friend who had a condo room here as a part of the Hilton timeshare program. The service professionals treated us all well, professionally and with humor. The happy hour was great!

Checked in to dirty room and sheets, reported it to desk no assistance. Asked for daily housekeeping when checked in didn't receive until two days later after I asked 4 times. Breakfast items was burnt. Asked cook about replacing them they informed us they can't until it was finished. My husband and I received gay slurs from housekeeping because we asked for towels that they didn't provide when they cleaned the room. We was looking at hotels for or wedding. If this is how the Hilton brand do things. We are not going to host our wedding with them

In all a pleasant stay.
Good location, walking distance to DT.
Breakfast is really good including omelett chef.
Selfparking, in basement, $55 or $44 depending on room level.
There is a pool and a jacuzzi, but no loockerroom/changeroom so you have to change in your room BUT they have NO bathrobe, neither slippers. Bad.
They do not have shuttel service.
Small bottle if water in lobbybar is $6. In supermycket opposite side of the road it was $0,99.
AC is not so effective.
Free WiFi is slow.
Obligatory "resort fee" of $25 a Day!
There are often waiting time at elevators, only 3 elevators i this big Hotel (197 room).
I rate this Hotel 3 of 5.

This hotel was amazing, but we possibly had BEDBUGS! We were staying in one of the rooms that had a king bed with a pullout bed couch which had signs of bedbugs

The rooms are beautiful however the service lacks.we called 3 times for a toothbrush and received tooth paste lol. The restaurant was over a 2hrs wait for our food to arrive and when it did arrive it was one by one.the meals did not arrive together.the parking is a bit tricky, having to first check in before having access to the parking lot.

I was a bit disappointed by this hotel for a couple of reasons:

1. They charge $25 resort fees and for that they gave me $25 voucher to be spent only at the hotel. I arrived at this hotel at 9PM and they gave me this voucher which could be used only at their restaurant by 10PM or their pantry. The pantry was in bad shape; lot of stuff was out of stock and only poor junk food options. Why do they charge resort fee when its not even a resort.

2. There was no water in the room. Again, what kind of resort is this! I asked the front desk which gave me 2 bottles of water for which I had to pick them from front desk. No sense of service.

These businesses need to called out. Post Covid they don’t provide that much of service but want all sort of money for a mediocre product and service they offer.

What a fantastic hotel in Georgetown!
The room is so spacious and clean. The rates are reasonable and affordable! The Atrium is beautiful! The Happy Hours are fun with drinks and snacks. The breakfast is full with items. The service is superior! Love this hotel! Definitely come back and stay here again.
