Expensive, but large room, great included breakfast, free happy hour, and DeAngelo provides great service.

We showed up more than 4 hours early and D'Angelo was able to find us a room to check in early. It was SO helpful.

BEWARE- Do not stay at this hotel if you don’t want to risk getting stuck on one of the elevators, that goes to/from the rooms. This happened to my family and a couple of other customers and they ended up having to use the elevator phone to request help, which of course did not make anyone feel comfortable. Also, the pool area is very small. I wish I would have known this or I would have opted to stay at a way better hotel, as The Conrad is right across the street and looks much more luxurious and you won’t risk your life by getting stuck on an elevator.

We checked in last night at 9ish pm and requested a late checkout today, and were told that they should be able to accommodate. We had requested a checkout of 5 pm. The receptionist that answered the call before we arrived said that there is a chance the rate may be added by $50 if allowed to stay for the late checkout, but that’d be it, if any raise at all to room charge.

Called this morning to check on the request from the previous night. Was told that there will be no late checkout, and if we wanted to stay anytime after 12 there will be added cost of $100 if checking out by 2 pm, and that after that time we’d have to pay for an additional night.

Why is there discrepancy between what we were told before reservation & after?

This being said, the hotel is clean, breakfast is amazing, and all other aspects of the stay have been awesome. Would definitely recommend it. Hopefully the issue stated above will get resolved for future visitors; it would have be super helpful to get help with our request as we were traveling with a 2 month old and had to scramble to leave the room earlier than planned.

Everything was fine until I was denied of my request for late checkout as a Hilton Honors member. I had stayed 3 nights in a corner room that was very spacious but walls are bit thin that I can hear my neighbor every time they flush toilets. My bathroom door was also badly scuffed, extra safety door latch was broken, and couch smelled like stinky sweat. Also didn’t have luggage stand but was quickly remedied. Breakfast with made to order omelette was great. Location is great. I’m just very annoyed that he flat out refused and can’t accommodate my late checkout request at 9 am. He was not friendly and looked annoyed when I asked how long commute was to the zoo. This African American male was stand offish and not helpful like the other two girls that were usually at the desk. I asked for just an hour late checkout too. This is first time ever that I’ve been rejected and thinking of going back to Marriott only. And Yes, I know it’s subject to availability.

I just didn't Feel like they had themselves together. I have stayed at Embassy Suites b4, like last year in New Jersey, & this felt different. The Whole Hotel had a Chill in the air. I know it had been Hot in DC, but Chill every where. The Design of the room was different. No closet in the Bedroom. Just a Different Feel that I didn't Enjoy.

The entire staff during the stay were detail oriented and extremely hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. D'Angelo was an absolutely stellar help when two of my staff had to return after airline cancelations. He was responsive and kind as he quickly re-booked rooms for each of them. The breakfast each morning was fresh with made to order omelets, fresh fruit, as well as a breakfast buffet. Very close to the convention center and multiple monuments. Would be a good place to stay for vacation as well.

This hotel was great. Family vacation with 5 people in 2 rooms. Able to be across the hall from each other. Cook to order breakfast each morning was delightful. Also the social hour was a nice touch. If we needed anything the staff were very responsive too.

Very spacious rooms. I picked one on the top top floor hoping to get a view of the Washington Monument only to see another building, lol. Easy to get to, however, they have no parking garage or lot, so you must valet park your vehicle. That cost is added to your room rate as well, so take that into consideration. Friendly staff working the front desk and the lobby was clean. Room was clean and extra pillows and blankets for the pullout sofa were provided. Definitely would stay here again!

Their valet service is horrid. You’ll spend $75/night to wait 45mins or more to get your vehicle out every time. Breakfast is standard. The location is unbeatable

Overall very good. But honestly a few of the employees are rude like the bartender during happy hour. She’s not happy, that’s for sure. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom is very low. Hard to even rinse your toothbrush off. To end on a positive note, the morning breakfast is very nice and location can’t be beat. I would stay here again.

Just stayed for a night, but we will definitely be back. Quite frankly, this will be our new go-to while in DC. From the quick support via text prior to checking in to the valet service to the welcoming atmosphere and staff, we were impressed. The Embassy Suites hotel was clean, modern, and top notch in every way. Contactless check-in/check-out was super easy. I have zero complaints!

Nice hotel. Clean inside and outside rooms. Very nice hot, made to order breakfast. Staff were all nice. Location was great. And price was very competitive.

Hotel, location and breakfast was outstanding. Evening reception was nice perk. Hotel front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was super clean.

Breakfast can get busy! The housekeeping staff has been lovely when I’ve interacted with them.

This is a great location. Be prepared to pay for valet parking. That's their only parking option. My room was great and comfortable.

Great location, close to many of the sites and the zoo. Managers happy hour is a great gesture. But you can not sit in the bar area or at the bar with your free drink even if you want to watch a game. Snakes and refreshments along with alcoholic beverages for the managers happy hour is limited. Also recommend to get there at starting time 6 pm because things do run out. Bar staff is hit is not the friendliest.

The rooms were a little small but I loved the hotel. We stayed for Otakon and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The restaurant/breakfast was delicious! The TVs in the room are huge and the bed was very comfy. The pool was nice but it’s very small so it crowds up.
