Italian Restaurant Fiola reviews
8An incredible experience with delicious food, perfect wine to match, and a great experience. We did the tasting menus across almost 3.5 hours. It was delicious. My wife was gluten free yet every single one of her dishes was customized and delicious, even their homemade bread. It’s not cheap but it’s very worth it for the experience and quality of service. Without doubt the nicest meal I have had in the US.
Appropriate for a date night, anniversary, or even dining alone if that is your thing. I appreciate the attention to detail, service, and ambiance. We did the 5-course meal with wine pairing. When dropping 1k on dinner for two, I expect my standards to be met. This restaurant did not disappoint.
I have no words to describe the level of satisfaction from my incredible visit at Fiola. What I do know, is that I would absolutely visit once a week if I could. Each course of their tasting menu was incredibly manicured, beautiful, and most importantly.delicious. Under no circumstances come into Fiola expecting your traditional "Olive Garden" experience as you will be sorely disappointed. Each and every bite was like listening to your favorite symphony, observing each brush stroke of your favorite painting, or staring deep into the night sky and counting the stars. As I told some of the incredible staff that curated the journey for me, Fiola is not worthy of their single Michelin star - they are worthy of all three.
We came here for a dessert and very delicious dessert wine from the island of Madeira, Portugal. The service was amazing as well as staff. We wish we came here for a nice dinner.
The food was delicious - but the prices are hard to justify, given today's availability of high-end restaurants in DC. The fact that the online menu doesn't list prices anymore is an indication that they have a hard time to justify them.
The service was terrific. The food was creative and enjoyable. The 5 course traditional meal was effectively 7 courses with an extra potato and lentils dish that was lovely, along with a perfect citrus palette cleanser. The meal was so rich and satisfying, despite small serving sizes, that I had to take home some of the food. And despite the rather high price, in the end I felt that I got my money's worth with all the lovely little touches and unexpected extras.
Very pleasant experience
Our server was Mike and he is very professional. He made my wife's birthday even more special. Food is undoubtly excellent.
Our fourth time at Fiola over as many years, it does not disappoint. We think the restaurant gets better every year, fine-tuning an already masterful operation. Fiola is not an eatery, it’s theatre with food and you have a front row seat to the entertainment. Over three and a half hours you will be treated to wonderful expressions from the Chef and world class Service. It’s expensive, averaging $450 a person with drinks, tax and gratuities however you can spend that much at a Caps Hockey Game. Our Foodie friend from Toronto whom we took to dinner said “on a Scale of 1 to 10, this is a 12, it’s spectacular. Try it.
