I loved, loved, loved my food. I ordered the salmon with poach eggs (cooked for me). My friend ordered a burger and fries.

The personalities of the staff are like a breath of fresh air. They were unbelievably kind and friendly. They welcomed us and our 2 dogs like family. Service was fantastic, great vibes and atmosphere, and filling food!

Awesome food and drinks! Super nice service and got us in and out quick when we needed it. Wish the servings were a bit bigger but that’s the only downside.

I’ve eaten at Firefly several times between February and June 2023 as a hotel guest. The breakfast menu is generally good, the coffee is excellent. However, the food quality later in the day was hit or miss. Take out food, like a salad, had a large gnat emerge from the box, flying around my room. The fries were soggy. On a June visit, I found that the hotel/restaurant had lost its outdoor dining permit, so it lacks an outdoor dining option.

maps usually steers my right for my brunch options…and Firefly Hot the spot! I had a few options for my egg craving and MJ suggested the Veggie Burrito…excellent choice!

The food was absolutely delicious! I got the firefly burger and my fiancé for the waffle bananas foster. However, we sat and waited 20 minutes before we even put in drinks. Then, two servers came over at different times asking about what we wanted to eat after the order was already taken. I was told that my meal came with truffle fries when it infact did not. There was just a lot delays and miscommunication from the servers. It's unfortunate but the food is definitely worth a moderate wait.

We stayed at the hotel Madera for 3 nights and had breakfast at Firefly for 3 mornings. The food and coffee were great! It's a bit pricey but it was so convenient for us. The gem of the place is MJ the waiter. I think he's the star of this place. His friendliness, humor and attention were definitely something that we kept coming back to. He's knowledgeable, courteous, quick and fun. More importantly he loves what he's doing and that is felt by every customer. He even made my grumpy 13yo teen boy smile in the morning!:) Thank you MJ.

The meals here are fine. Not worth going out of your way for, but if you are nearby then this place is good to go to.

I went last night with my friend and our experience was beyond our expectations! We had two amazing cocktails, I got the “Check your float ability” that came in a bath tube and it was more than I expected. Our bartender Georgi was amazing, he took care of us and made our experience GREAT!

Food and drinks were very good, but the service was very, very slow, and unexplained. I’m assuming they were short staffed, but no mention was made of it. Over an hour from sitting down to receiving meals.

The living tree was removed a few years ago during the renovation, but the atmosphere is still very nice.

With a full waitstaff and kitchen, this would be a great spot.

Tried Firefly last night for the first time and we had a BLAST! We sat at the bar and Georgi took care of my friend and me. He was EXCELLENT, super friendly and nice and recommended the best cocktails! My friend had a vodka one that came in a mini bath tube (super fun and cute) and I had the “monkey business” one which had a Monkey printed on top! SOOO NICE.

Definitely coming back!

Great service and the atmosphere was nice, but the food could be a bit better and they were out of some of the menu staples like burgers and veggies.

Fun restaurant with great food and cocktails. Good value and the cocktails really are inventive and delicious. I particularly like the Elk Women cocktail. Service was slow and not super attentive.

I just had dinner at Firefly with my partner. I was so disappointed. We ordered the salmon and as I am mostly vegetarian I ordered the vegetable plate as the main course. The salmon was $36 and the vegetable plate was $26. I was so underwhelmed by the vegetable plate in particular. It did not come with anything with it. No rice no bread. When I asked for bread they charged me $5. It's really not the price but it's that it's not a meal. And it wasn't that the vegetables were bad. It's just that that's not a thoughtful plate to put in front of a diner. So I left unsatisfied.

Avocado Toast was fine, pastry basket was basic and not very good. Latte was completely awful- I burnt my tongue on the first sip and couldn’t bring myself to drink it.

My parents and I stayed at the Hotel Madera which is connected to the Firefly restaurant. We had breakfast most of the mornings we were at the hotel and we had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was great! MJ was our server and he was so personable, friendly, and energetic! He made our dining experience so enjoyable!

Terrible service. It took 30 minutes just to place our order, and then they twice got the order wrong. The correct dish didn’t arrive until 1 hour and 20 minutes after we sat down. Really disappointing for a place that charges fairly high prices.

We made a reservation for at 2: 30PM and arrived 2: 35PM, and they told us that they closed their kitchen at 2: 30PM and couldn’t take us even though we had a reservation.
