Dr. Polun is the very BEST podiatrist you can find in Washington metro area. He is an extremely knowledgeable doctor, outstanding surgent, caring with his patients, and he gets you back on your feet.

I had an issue with my feet for over 10 years. It was only getting worse. Dr. Polun recommended a Lapiplasty with PRP. The surgery at Sibley hospital went very well and the nerve block on my foot help to control the postoperative pain for over 24hours.
My recovery is steady. His office in Potomac Park is state of the art. I highly recommend Dr. Polun to anybody with similar conditions.

Dr. Polun has worked with me throughout all of my the foot related problems I've had since I have been in school. His main concern is that his patients are doing well, and he was there responding to me after hours when I was worried. Professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and listens to patient's concerns deligently. Do be aware that there is typically a wait time (at least I experienced) between 15-30 minutes after your appointment time and check-in before you can be seen, so plan accordingly. On the brighter end, if you are slightly late, you can still see the doctor:)

Dr Polun did a substantial surgery on my toe. I was surprised to find how little pain I had afterwards. It tells me that he did a good job.

I cannot speak more highly about Dr. Polun. The patience and time he has generously shared with me has been remarkable. I experienced a pretty bad Grade-III ankle sprain and was told by a rushed orthopedist would require surgery and nearly seven months of recovery that would prevent me from running and hiking. Being told I would be off my feet for several months and prohibited from enjoying physical activity on my feet through the entire summer season, I sought a second opinion. I first met Dr. Polun in my freshman year of college. He quickly solved my ingrown toenail problem but soon after he discovered I had a stress fracture in my foot and an MRI showed my ankle which had been operated on (by another dr.) when I was a high school junior was not actually repaired. Dr. Polun operated on my ankle, fitted me with orthotics, connected me with a device called a bone growth stimulator, assisted me with laser therapy and an injection to help my fractures heal and continued to help me with frequent ingrown toenails. He also responded by email and phone to all my questions and concerns. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Polun's excellent diagnostic, surgical and cutting-edge knowledge. My ankle, foot and toe have never felt better as I get ready to head back to college feeling confident and strong. Thanks, Dr. Polun!

Dr. Engorn is wonderful, so knowleadgeable, and wants best possible outcome for his patients. All the staff are great!

The staff were great and very helpful upon my arrival. Dr. Polun was great and I really enjoyed our appointment. He was very quick with his diagnosis and forthcoming with suggested treatment methods for my Plantar Fasciitis. I had measurements taken for custom orthotics and feel I'm in very capable hands for treatment of my specific condition. My one suggestion as a new patient, would be to send out the necessary "new patient" paperwork ahead of my scheduled appointment. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Polun to my friends, family and co-workers

Dr. Engorn took the time to listen to all my concerns and answer my questions, never felt rushed and he was caring. My daughter and myself are now his patients and we are very happy with the him and the staff.
