Full Yum Carry Out reviews
10Been here a few times, I get chicken with mumbo, the sauce is top tier in my opinion, it’s not that sweet and sour/ Polynesian fake out a lot of carry outs use now. Rice can be hit or miss at times. The area is kind of sketchy, and you may get harassed eventually by the homeless, most of them out there will leave you alone but it’s a matter of time if you look like you don’t belong there. I feel bad for the lady because she is very nice, and puts up with a whole lot. A lady recently got shot to death outside in broad day about a month ago. So go at your own risk
Ordered here while visiting the DC area and was not disappointed. Fast and friendly service.
Went there food was fast BUT
FOOD WAS TRASH -sorry not sorry
I got sick after the first 2 bites
Sent me straight to the bathroom
I ordered steak and cheese eggrolls
Sweet tea and iced tea
Sesame chicken
French fries
Money went down the drain
Full Yum use to be the SPOT! I’ve been going here since high school in 2010. This place is disgusting NOW. I went there to get food and it was dry. The owner was really rude when I told him that the white rice was hard and that their wasn’t any sauce on my shrimp and broccoli. My chicken was dry with no seasoning plus it was old. Nothing here is fresh anymore
The food used to be so good at Full Yum. Now I feel it is the worst. I was so hungry after not eating all day. I ordered t
Spring Rolls and shrimp fried rice... Omg! The shrimp were fresh. However they obviously used some very stale old white rice to make the fried rice. Some of the rice bits were hard and there was something bitter tasting in the food. I don't know if it was burnt onion or what. It was just gross, scary, and disappointing. The Spring roll was straight mush. These restaurants use to know how to cook and prepare these simple tasty dishes. I was better off making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead of spending a fine on this horrible meal.
I got 6 wings and fries and the wings were salty and they seem old not freshly cooked the fries were good
Very cheap, but the poultry dishes are 40% meat, tops. Also the Hunan and Szechuan chicken were fairly bland (but again, cheap!) Solid neighborhood joint.
I heard about Full Yum on some "best of DC dives" list or something like that. It's really good. This is going to be my new go-to. I got egg rolls and hunan shrimp with veg. So yum.
Don't sleep on the steak and cheese sub! Mushrooms, Bell pepper, Fried Onions, & Mayo + Toast Bread! Very delicious
Well I can definitely say this by experience THE BEST OF THE BEST STEAK & CHEESE W/ FRIED ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPERS & SIDE ORDER OF FRIES TO TOP IT OFF LARGE ICE TEA & LEMONADE YUM YUM
