Georgetown Piano Bar reviews
17Classic bar.could see it being a fun place, but i think the pianists were taking requests when i was so they didnt sound like they really knew the songs.nobody was dancing (music wasnt very danacable) but it was too loud to really have a conversation either.vibes were fine.
The host was unacceptably rude to me. When I entered they gave a halfway unenthusiastic, sarcastic greeting and mumbled something inaudbile. When I asked them to please repeat themselves because I couldn't hear them they slammed the menu, rolled their eyes, and stormed off.
Good vibe, but it was so crowded that you couldn’t hear the people playing the pianos. Half the facility was reserved for a private party, so everyone was crowded into half the space. I would like to go back and try it on a regular Friday night when it isn’t hosting a special event.
THE BEST BAR IN THE WORLD!
COME FOR THE PIANO
Sing at the table! Don’t forget to dance
The bartender at 10pm is stupid service. And discriminación. Service. Not good. Not like not
Some of my favorite memories made in D. C.were here. Such an amazing bar atmosphere. Just a good old fashioned time. Loud crowd on the weekends and killer music.
Very fun atmosphere. For all ages. The live music is great. Drinks are good, the stools are very extreme, you'll see when you get there, not a bad thing, just very different lol. Would visit again. Parking sucks though.
Good overall. Wished they had actual pianos rather than keyboards. Also the sound was low and not very clear, so sometimes it was difficult to hear them singing or playing.
Terrific piano bar in Georgetown. No cover. Excellent music and a great atmosphere. Had a really fun evening.
Super great vibe. No cover fee.
We came in on a Saturday night and had a great time. The ambiance was fun, the music was great. Lovely sense of camaraderie in the bar. And lots of young people!
Fun. Gets crowded after 9. Drinks are good. Full of very loud liberal college kids who think everyone is entitled to the kids opinion. Still a good time.
Was great last night however I wish there was a way for the audience to sing the songs at times- piano men sang well but at tones not adapted to female singers and that is also why they choose often songs sang by males
Unfriendly door woman; wouldn’t allow EU ID for entry. Seriously? There are like millions of them regularly visiting the US…broaden your horizon!
My friend DJ’d here for years, and now believes he is a musical talent on the scale of Mozart, Bach, or even lil yachty. He is not. That being said I have danced my way to nirvana, while sweating so much I almost died. The drinks are so strong, when I in the puked in the Potomac the fish 50 miles away started boogieing on that gin and juice.
I love the concept of a piano bar and the setup where you can have two singers duel each other here. The songs I heard them play were varied, sounded good, and had unique tones to them!
They overcharge tabs. When you politely try to reconcile they are very defensive. Great bar but they like to scam drinks off you.
Best bar in Georgetown. Good food, good music, and great drinks. Can’t ask for a better time. Great manager/owner too.
