The shrimp & grits with collards was amazing! I'll return for that alone 100%! Bisquits not so much. Great service. VERY noisy.

I eat here every time I come to DC. The place is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is extraordinary. The clientele is generally up scale. Anna, the owner is there to greet you, and makes you feel welcome. If you want to have a great dinner experience, come here. Matt! Iller

I'd go back. Great place for a date night near the National Mall. We tried the steak salad, shrimp and grits, brussel sprouts, and the side fried chicken. Everything was excellent. Portions were just right. I also ordered a cocktail, which ended up about $133 with gratuity automatically added for you.

There was live jazz music on Wednesday night. Atmosphere was upscale.

I'd leave the kids at home. We were able to get a reservation day of at mid week.

We were blown away by the food. Came here for a birthday lunch for my partner who misses southern food (don't have any good places where we live now) and were so happy we chose this place. Great portion sizes too, wish we had come for dinner instead so we could have ate more then just waddled back to the hotel.

Service was pretty good, though we were sat away from most other diners so we didn't have someone come by too often.

I love this restaurant so much. Shrimp and grits and fried chicken are unbelievable. This is a DC go-to for sure!

Food was good. Server was not great but the manager stepped in and made the rest of our experience.

Terrific happy hour and attentive bartenders. VERY loud restaurant. Unfriendly server probably because we brought drinks from the bar. Slow service and incorrect food ordered and a PITA to correct. Steak salad was incredible and chicken was flavorful.

The vibe was good, only disappointment was watching a waiter wipe sweat from his forehead while holding a plate of food.

Was expecting a little more from this place. The food was good. My friend and I both had the fried chicken, and it was good. Service was on the slow side which we can’t fault them too much for. I didn’t really like any of my drinks. We also ordered the deviled eggs, they were below basic, and the biscuits. The biscuits were okay, I don’t think we to a fresh order though.

This was literally the best restaurant I've ever been to! The restaurant was clean and chic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was out of this world! I could eat my weight in their fried green tomatoes omg. Everything was so fresh and hot. I could go on and on about this place. I'd eat here everyday if I lived in DC!

We got the country fried steak, fried green tomatoes, catfish fingers, and chili (soup du jour). Everything was delicious! Shane was attentive and anticipated our needs. When we mentioned splitting our entree, I figured we would get the entree and an additional plate. Much to our pleasant surprise, he brought us each a plate with equal portions of the entree. Great customer service! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Georgia Brown's! Looking forward to a return trip!

Such a remarkable restaurant. Service was amazing, and the food was fabulous! The company was awesome too!

The staff was very friendly, but the food and drinks were not to good, we went to happy hour a week ago.the biscuit appetizer were hard and cold, the deviled were good, and I got the catfish platter, the mac and cheese and collard greens were very cold, but the catfish was good. I don't know if I want to try this place again. The price is reasonable for downtown DC for good food, but if the food is not up to par that makes the prices to high

They have a policy where if you have a reservation they will not seat the group until everyone is there. While I understand why they may do this, it's very shortsighted and inconsiderate. Consider the following scenario:

You book a reservation for 8 people to celebrate a friend who just beat a serious illness. 7 of the 8 arrive, and the remaining person is stuck in traffic due to an accident on her route. The 7 people are either forced to wait for her, reduce the reservation to 7 and exclude her, or cancel the reservation entirely. No exceptions. Imagine how much of a vibe killer that is. The best food in the world wouldn't make up for that.

Also, I very much enjoyed the food during my first visit but felt the mac and cheese quality diminished this time around.

I went here for my birthday and it was everything! Service was phenomenal, all of the staff were attentive. From the moment we walked in the door until we left it was a vibe. The food and I mean all of the food was delicious. Portion sizes were great. Everyone at our table were able to try each others food. Last but not least, the cornbread! Whew child, I loved it. Thank you all for making my birthday dinner special. I will definitely be back.

This is an excellent place to go to the atmospheres wonderful nice smooth r&b jazz like music the food is delicious and the waiters are excellent

Seated promptly for Sunday brunch. Waited >10minutes at our table without any greeting, water, nothing. Tables around us were being served, so I’m not sure what happened. We walked out.
