Giant Food reviews
31Not bad. Giants are typically hit or miss and the staff here made the difference. Floors could be cleaner and the fresh food section was not well stocked
Produce section is always a mess. Never produce in rollers and it's dirty and unkempt. They will be hurting when the new grocery store opens in Brookland. Staff is cool and kind though. I just assume management has no idea how to lead or convey expectations.
It's a perfectly fine grocery store. Nothing special. Not the best Giant I've been in but far from the worst. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.
Giant is mu neighborhood store! Hopefully it doesn't scare people, But I just got out of Howard University Hospital Critical ICU since August14th! I am all the way cleared and pray the no one has to endure what I went through! I founded everything through only looking for a small amount. No Krisy Cream Doughnuts! No problem, I was treated well, We have the best store, I had on all my safety gear! Blessings!
I went to the Wester Union at the Customer services desk and they were very very nice. Excellent customer services!
I was surprised when I saw the store opened. I went in and it was pretty empty. I was able to find what I wanted and more. The folks I spoke to were friendly and helpful. One gentleman I spoke with helped me ring up my purchase. Thanks guys!
The overall experience was good however the smell in that store is horrible! It's a health hazard for a store to smell so bad. The health department need to visit that place and see what the problem is!
This store had A lot of half empty shelves. Giant food in general has terrible produce that does not last long and yet costs more than other stores. I switched to Harris Teeter for better prices, fresher produce and cheap prescriptions. I only use Giant when I need something quick because they are close.
Just pick up sum balloons for my son's bday they where a lil slow but they are remodeling so I was patient and understood n they apologized for me having to wait
It was not for like today at Giant I did not like the customer service there was delivered to me I did not get all the food that I wanted to get and I feel as though I was cheated and I did not get the help that I was needed that I was supposed to get but it's all good and thank you for your services never again thank you
The produce section is seriously lacking in quality and selection compared with the Safeway on Georgia Ave. The sweet potatoes had deep holes in them. The zucchini was scarred and had deep scrape marks. There were several vegetables I couldn't find here.
I can find the gluten free products I need here but I go to the Safeway on Georgia Ave for my produce.
This is my giant I can always go and get everything that I need my God blesses me with the stuff that I want is always on sale there and they are never out of turkey bacon.
If this the store off of Rhode Island Ave, thank you for having a clean store. In all my years of shopping at Giant, mostly in PG county, I have made aan extra trip to another business to find a clean bathroom. Today to my surprise, this Giant had a clean bathroom. Thank you Mr. Chris who was outside cleaning the floors and other areas as well. This was a first in my experience as a Giant shopper. Thanks to the Manager of the store.
Only one cashier working at the register. There was two other lanes open for self checkout. Myself and many others where very dissatisfied with the wait time.
The good part is the store was almost empty, the bad part is the shelves were almost empty too. Guess everyone 's cooking out
Nice suburban size grocery store in the city. It's nice to stretch out while shopping and the lines are not too long by DC standards.
Less expensive the Safeway, even when there is a sale. Helpful staff at the one across from Home Depot. Hope the tariff war cools off.neighborhood can't afford to lose it.
I go there all the times for groceries and it's very close to we're I live so I think that very convenient
Decent prices but crummy customer service. Food usually okay. Yes I am damning with faint praise.
The selection in the produce department was excellent. Its had good prices. I travelled up and down a few aisles they were nicely stocked that a plus.the associate at the register (Viola) were very courteous and kind. This was a great first time visit to this location to shop for groceries
