Harry's Reserve reviews
15This place is discriminatory. I have noticed that Caucasian customers are never questioned when they want to run their cards as credit nor are they asked for ID. However I as an African-American am always asked either to do debit or for ID. For this reason I am not shopping here anymore
I went to this store in hopes of finding convenience regardless of cost and was met with higher than normal. While there, I came into the store soon after rolling my ankle on the metro and sat down on a supply box. While my partner was picking out our selection to purchase, the staff walked by and engaged with me, without comment to my sitting on a supply box. While my partner was in line to purchase our liquor, a woman who exited the staffs office and she yelled at me for sitting on the box. I tried to explain that I was simply trying to rest while my ankle was twisted and she continued to yelled at me in front of the entire store, without any kind ask to stand up or leave. I tried to explain my friend was purchasing alcohol And I had injured myself and the woman, doing her make up at the time, continued to yell at me while insulting my friends appearance. I have never felt so bombarded and insulted in my life. There are liquors stores at almost every other corner of Capitol Hill/navy yard- with very kind owners!
One Stop Shop, nice atmosphere, very well stock with wine and spirits, But the prices are a very high.
Best liquor store in Navy Yard! Prices are unbeatable, and the staff is superb and extremely helpful! Keep up the fantastic work!
The prices are completely overpriced and items are out of stock. Additionally, I witnessed the staff bully a customer for their makeup which was completely inappropriate. I would go elsewhere!
Prices are higher than other places in the area and its not very accessible. Also, not a big selection of nicer wines.
Tiny store, really great selection. I would avoid on a Friday or Saturday as it gets really crowded really quick, but this is a great store.
Big selection and the prices are not bad. Do visit here and check out the selection. Avoid the rush after work.
Harry's always has a great wine, beer, and spirits selection. If you don't know what you want ask for Greg, he is amazing, very knowledgeable, and will be able to narrow down what you are looking for!
Memo to the tall white "bro" who works here: I don't care if you're the owner, a manager, or just a regular employee, don't call your customers "bud. " Incredibly disrespectful and condescending. Watch your tone too. Not the first time I've encountered your condescending attitude here.
Great staff, always really well stocked. If you have any questions bon what to try or looking for something hard to find they will usually have it.
Great local bottle shop with quality products. Awesome selection of spirits, beer and wine. Tons of harder-to-find and specialty spirits. Everyone on staff is great, super friendly and helpful.
I love Harry's Reserve store always nice and neat sock with everything you need staff always friendly with great customer service super plus and they open on Sundays can't get no better than that.
The selection here is really impressive. You'll find what you're looking for, as well as some new surprises worth trying.
A great selection of individual beers if you want to put together your own flight. Harry's always has the best made in DC beer and spirits.
