Drinks are good and staff is generally friendly. Unfortunately they are usually on their phone or nowhere to be found

Cocktails not as shown. You get a choice of one of four weak pre-made cocktails. Pizza is pretty good. Pleasant design and view.

Stumbled upon this place while driving around DC. Service was friendly, the hotel has a cute bee theme. The city view Is. Very nice, can see the Watergate hotel and the entrance to Georgetown from here. Hive lager is crisp and cold. Had some delicious pizza to go along the relaxed ambiance. Definitely recommend.

This will definitely be my new "go to" bar in DC. I loved everything about this rooftop bar. It's well designed and relaxing. They really emphasis the "HIVE" part. Everything is related to a honeycomb kind of look. The side tables next to the couches have a honeycomb design and the elevator walls are glass so you can see the painted design while going up or down. They painted it to look like a bee hive. There is an &pizza downstairs where you can order pizzas from and have it brought to you upstairs.

I'm a very picky margarita drinker. Liam nailed my margarita to perfection today. Great happy hour. A must when in town.

We waited for a waiter, then ordered, then waited, and waited, and waited for our pizza. Waiters didn’t once apologize for the wait nor check on us. We had to repeatedly flag them down and ask “. Is our pizza coming? ” If they were busy or understaffed, that happens, but there was no check on our food, if we wanted more drinks, anything. Service was nonexistent. We had to flag a waiter down for our checks, then WAITED more to get them. Both of our waiters were unfriendly; one acted irritated when we had questions about the menu.

This place has great drinks and what are likely the best concoctions of an &pizza on their menu. I just wish that they didn’t skimp out on the “hive” lights and decked the entire bar area out with them. It would really raise this place to another level to have an entire ceiling filled with these dope hexagonal lights.

Amazing bartenders with wonderful recommendations. Fantastic service. Great food. The pizza was made and provided immediately. My friend was craving cheese, and despite not having cheese on the menu, they got her cheese! 100% recommend.

The best hidden gem of DC spots. Low key but always nice servers, great drinks and affordable cocktails. The rooftop is great!

Small beer and cocktail selection with a good atmosphere for a professional happy hour. Unfortunately several of the taps were empty at only 4pm on a Thursday. Pizza is available but it's an odd ordering process where a bartender has to go to the &Pizza shop next door and place your order for you. Reccomend the rooftop bar when it is open.

Excellent service.
The spirits are all locally produced. Our vodka tasted more like rum and the rum didn't taste like anything I recognized.

Well drinks are $10 so check out the happy hour.

Food was good. Drink not so much. Did not think it was mixed correctly. Could hardly taste the bourbon in it.

This is a cool place, which is actually two bars. Yes, two bars one at the ground level and one on the roof. The rooftop bar opens at 4: 30 p m and closes at 10: 00 pm. The regular bar stays open till 1: 00 am. Pizza is great with a nice selection. My favorite is the Gnarlic - classic white pizza with grilled onions

Came right around last call and the staff were super nice. A friend spilled his drink and they gave us no issues. It has a rooftop bar but we weren't able to visit. Its right on the gw campus so would definitely recommend a visit.

Love this place! The first time I tried it was about two years ago, when my boyfriend and I were grabbing drinks and some snacks before a concert at the Kennedy Center. We were running a bit late and the staff at Hive went out of their way to get us our food and drinks quickly- excellent service! Every time I've been back, I've been impressed with the staff, the drinks, the pizza, and of course the awesome rooftop bar! Will continue to frequent this place, especially before Kennedy Center concerts!
