16We found this gem by accident. Didn’t realize it was a local staple and were visited by all kinds of celebrities. Our the food we got were amazing! Their pizza is paper thin and the crust has a chewy meaty flavor. Highly highly recommended!
Great spot in Georgetown for authentic Neapolitan pizza. The lasagna in a bowl is also a must try. Friendly service from Eugenia and Peroni on draft helped make dinner here fabulous!
Very busy, pizza was great. Book ahead to sit outside if its a sunny day. Hard to get notice of the barman when you are sitting at the bar.
I bumped into a couple of famous comedians there. Quite the spot for a bite and a beer!
Bert Kreischer, Shane Torres, Rosebud Baker, and Jesus Trejo!
Great food, pizza and Lasagna were amazing! Staff was very helpful, thanks Grace and Gianni!
This place was slam packed on a Saturday night. We noticed that the crowd drops off at around 9: 15 p.m.
I ordered the Marguerite Pizza with pepperoni and green peppers. Was looking forward to it, based on reviews. Unfortunately, the crust was limp & mushy.
My wife had the Gnocchi Bolognese. It seemed very dense and the sauce needed more garlic and seasonings. Bl
The Ceasar salad was fresh and crunchy. No bread served with the pasta.
Very pricey for what you got.
The almond chocolate cake was very dry!
Disappointed with the food, although the service was very good!
The atmosphere greets you when arrive, which is complemented by the great service from the staff. The food was delicious and made to order with an authentic Italian feel. I am very glad that I tried this place.
Why is this place rated 5 stars? Why? I ordered 2 meatballs as appetizer and their stuffed ravioli. Ravioli, as the server said, is pre-packaged. The meatballs arrived cold. What? I understand one mistake, but being served this kind of food at a highly-rated Italian place is just unacceptable. This is the experience I had, complete opposite of what I expected.
The best pizza that I’ve ever eaten in my life, service is unique! If I can rate 6 stars they deserve! If you are in Washington you should go!
Thanks you guys!
Service was great, but the food was just eh for the price. Got the lasagna, pomodoro, and cannolis. Lasagna was decent, spaghetti pomodoro was cooked past al dente which shouldn’t be happening at an Italian restaurant.
Disappointing meal of gnocchi bolognese (gnocchi had excellent texture but lacked flavor) pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and artichokes. (under cooked and lacked flavor) I would have topped the gnocchi with some basil and Parmesan. (also some red pepper flakes) I will never come back for the price they charge for this food.
Grazie mille! Our favorite Italian restaurant in DC! Our favorite waiter is Benedetto- make sure to ask for him! We love speaking Italian with him and he’s a terrific server- very attentive, helpful and great service and personality! Our favorite is the margherita pizza, cannoli, and eggplant parmigiana. Grazie mille!
The service was top notch. Jenna was there explains the wine list, menu and dessert menu. Had the meat levers pizza and it was tremendous, thin crust with unique toppings. Will go back next time I'm in Georgetown.
Love everything from here but you would be a fool if you didn't have the lobster ravioli!
Excellent, authentic Italian meal! Bravi! My only detractor.and this is an important consideration, no veterans or Law Enforcement discount!
The service and ambiance were excellent. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. However for the price the food wasn’t great. The gnocchi were over cooked and the penne al salmone was very salty. The wine portion was a bit skimpy too. I’ve been to Italy so I’m very picky about Italian food. Otherwise it was a pleasant dining experience.
