JBAB Joint Visitor Center reviews
14Enjoyed the 4th of July events music, food, and view of the fireworks at the Washington monument.
Have to visit this location often. Today was a smooth process that didn't seem as harsh as previous times. Also noticed a bit of a staff change. Hopefully, this trend will continue
They have improved over the years issuing base passes. Better to go late morning when there is less of a line.
Recently separated vet calling with access questions regarding receipt of my DD214.
Visitor center staff was intentionally hostile and unhelpful - despite claiming to be prior military.
Terrible representation of our armed forces to the public.
The Officer's Club is under construction. Hopefully it will return to the grandeur of the past.
5 Stars for the ladies and gentlemen that served our Country.they are the reason we sleep good at night.
Can't lie, my experience at this place was awfully slow (30+ mins). I signed the sheet at the desk and waited and waited and waited while people that came in after me came thru and left. Until I asked the guy at the desk, what's going on, he guided me to the spot/area and told me to take a seat which he failed to do initially. When I was finally seen, it took like 5 mins to be processed thru.
Not professional. Came here to get an ID card (had appointment) made was told the ID CARD office would not see me unless I lived or worked on base. Call the ID Card off was told that’s a lie. Went back in and it switched to I needed a sponsor to get on base. Like why the first lie. Didn’t get my ID Card made which is annoying.
I don’t care that the base policy states a sponsor is needed…. I care that I was lied to and when she was called out on it that’s when she stated the bases policy.
No shuttle service. The gate closest to Navy lodging is closed. Ther was an ant infestation, not in walking distance to commissary or exchange.
Rude. Inconsistant procedures, complete unwillingness to help whatsoever. The lady in there needs to be fired or at the very least some oversight. TERRIBLE attitude.
Terrible, slow service. Ladies just kept hollering "Make sure you sign in" but then they never checked that clipboard. After 20 minutes (and several minutes of personnel smoking and joking) I asked if they were they checking the sign in sheet and the woman shouts "I ain't ever even seen you. " Then an Airman asked "How can we help you. "
A contractor in the waiting room confirmed that he experiences these sort of issues everytime he has to do work on this base. There is no computer check-in and very little instructions other than "Make sure you sign in" and multiple signs saying not to use your cell phone.
Lived here as a child it was a delightful experience to return as a man to see the base again.
I went there for the Firestone but it's not open to the public, can you add that it's a restricted Firestone?
Soldiers doing truck inspections are very professional and make the process quick and easy
