Best mumbo in north west! Food is made fresh, and the lady with glasses is always nice to me, if it’s busy and full of people drunk and leaving clubs, she has to deal with a lot of characters, but as long as you tell her what you want and don’t make things harder than they have to be, she’s just fine. I’m closer to Yums Of 14 and that’s good, but the extra 5 minute drive to Jerry’s is well worth it!

They are extremely rude I placed a $200 order and they told me they couldn't chop the chicken or fry it well done. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm from out of town and really need to feed my family from somewhere near by I would definitely take my money elsewhere

Food was not good fries were over cooked. Chicken had no taste, mumbo sauce taste like tomato sauce, customer service is horrible

Reminded me of every Chinese carry out place in Philly except they don't have Mambo/Mumbo sauce.

I visited Jerry's Carry Out on 5/31/19 at approx. 5: 00pm. Ordered shrimp fried rice and jumbo shrimp to go. Very hot, (temp) and tasty. Reasonable price too. Located in DC, Georgia Ave N. W.across from Howard University Hospital.

I wanted my food cooked well done got it not well-done forgot to give me the hot on I asked for.

Y'all complaining about the lady that takes your order. Just tell her what you want food wise. If you're trying to mess with her she isnt interested. Really good drunk food. It isn't gourmet. Adjust your expectations.

I always get the 3pc fried chicken wings and fries. $6.80 everytime. Good deal.

No frills take-out place that has great food! I had the sesame chicken, sautéed broccoli, and white rice. It’s so much food! Lasted me for 2 full meals and probably a third, which o don’t mind because I love Chinese food and it keeps well. They have lots of other things on the menu so I’ll have to come back and try them out!

Great tasting dumplings and very noce people. Amazing people. Had a fun night and my phone died on me while i was waiting for a ride.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! They charge you extra if you use your card and don’t spend $10! And the food is not good. I’m NEVER ordering from here again! I give them 0 stars.

Worst food experience I have had in years

Chicken was pink everywhere and barely cooked. I tried explaining this issue to staff and they said it was not their fault and they were unwilling to do anything to fix the problem. Are you kidding me?

Very good wings with Mambo sauce. They were cooked well, crispy and had plenty of meat. The sauce had a vinnegary flavor with a hint of sweet-n-sour sauce. I used to go here all the time when I was in college nearby, so I'm happy to see they are still on point.

Food poisoning alert. Definitely got sick from their food on Monday. Should be a fun couple of weeks in bed.

Drove an hour for a 4 PC wing and mumbo sauce just to get disappointed. Wings over cooked, dry and NO MUMBO SAUCE. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER, THANKS FOR THE DISAPPOINTMENT

Disappointed and disgusted, I ordered 4 wings with fries, a 6' steak and cheese sandwich and the general tso's chicken as far as the wings they were decent although my fries were overcooked and the mumbo sauce that was supposed to go with it came with a squashed mosquito on it! The General Tso chicken was mushy and tasteless. I ordered from this place because of the 4.3 rating but i feel deceived, or maybe they were just having an off day idk but I'd advise you to stay away from this place.

The food is always delicious and hot, the staff is always friendly and prompt, and the portions are huge!

Jerry's is THE BEST for late night food, drunk or not! Great portions, great flavor, a little shady inside but you don't go there for the ambiance.
