JOE & THE JUICE reviews
14I love Joe & the Juice. This is my 9th time eating from this franchise and 5 location within the DMV area. I always get the Spicy Tunacado —add avacado, and it never disappoints. Make sure they toast the bread to perfection for the perfect crunch. Also, I always get the Stress Down juice/drink and it’s always fresh. I wish their carrot cake was softer and prepackaged/vacuum sealed but still tasty nonetheless! Their turkey avacado is also really yummy if you’re not a tuna person. Staff and management always seem professional whenever I order inside to take out. Atmosphere is chill too! Wish they’d give me the recipe to the tuna and bread already! I come here way too much.
Do not go here unless you order online in advance. While their staff are nice, there are only two people and they cannot serve the volume of business. Two days in a a row I tried them but it took so long to get the order I almost had to just leave without it.
The quality of the food is good, but Joe is not doing what it takes to attract enough staff: - (
Came here to grab a sandwich because Potbelly had a long line, but I would rather have eaten the pink box that it came in. The chicken avocado "sandwich" was a piece of cardboard with less than fresh toppings and hardly any spread. Paying over $0 for that should be illegal. Saddest lunch I've had in a long time
Tables are dirty, couches are majorly stained, napkins are strewn on the flow, they were stingy with the pesto, juice was mediocre.
Do they think there are no other places to grab a bite at? I’m seriously appalled. Never again.
This review is for lattes. In short, they don’t use whole milk, at all, for their lattes. I understand having 2% options for people, however, whole milk produces a nice milk foam and is traditionally used. Just makes me feel like theyre not a place for people who are really into coffee. The 2% honestly tasted so watery to me.
There is a decent amount of space and the space itself is very cute.
Staff was friendly. Morning wait times seem slower than other places in the area.
This is a coffee shop, not a dance club. Music was so loud! Myself and others could barely think.
Disappointing to see Joe & The Juice expand when their shops are already understaffed- staff were really backed up and wait was longer than it should have been. Sandwiches are abysmal and skimp on all ingredients.
Miniature drinks for gigantic prices (think blended apple for 10 dollars).
87% chance sandwich is made with cardboard and not bread.
89% chance that the people who made the menu don't know what a milkshake is.
Horrible, overpriced, do not go unless you're like Jeff Bezos or don't have tastebuds
A solid, cute, and convenient coffee and juice shop! I haven't had an opportunity to try any of their sandwiches or breakfast bowls yet, but I've really enjoyed their coffee, tea, and, most of all, their juice! My go-to is the Joe's Identity with added ginger, but I'm also a huge fan of all of their vegan shakes (not in small part because of the fact that they're vegan). I have to admit that it is really pricey - $10+ for a drink is undeniably steep, but it's a nice mid-day pick-me-up or reward on the days that are especially hard (or especially good). The overall atmosphere of Joe & the Juice is pretty solid. I appreciate the dark wooden furniture, the natural lighting from the massive windows, and the comfy chairs. It does get a little bit louder than most coffee shops (I'm assuming because they need to use the blender for the juices and shakes) so it's not super ideal for meetings, but I appreciate the white noise at times.
It’s always something with the Joe and the juices located downtown. It’s 6: 42pm and the shop is closed. Never coming again.
A average smoothie sandwich bar that was perfect for getting out of the rain.
I got one of their signature drinks the Joe’s Green mile that was pretty good. My wife got the green tonic Juice that neither of us really liked. We would recommend sticking with the smoothie.
Recommend as a clean place that is an easily forgettable pit stop if your walking around the DuPont circle district of DC.
The chocolate cupcake was dense and dry. It tasted like it was made with dark chocolate. I didn't find much on the menu that appealled to me.
Had juice nd sandwiches @ JOE & THE JUICE nd it was good both the time i visited. Good services by the staff also
