Had an extremely stressful second day in DC walking around with the kids but this place was like an oasis in the desert. Randomly stumbled upon it when the restaurant we had picked out didn’t have any available seats. Best tacos I’ve ever had anywhere hands down, extremely nice servers, genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Thank you!

Donavan was a great survey and very inviting. Shira was super friendly and quick with her bartending! Amazing experience! It would be nice to have more Latin music.

2nd time being back and both times have been amazing. The food here is top notch. I don’t think I’ve had anything I didn’t at least have a 2nd and third bite of. We came in for brunch and enjoyed the food and drinks immensely. Don’t hesitate and making a stop here for brunch.

Brunch bottomless drinks and food was elite. The food was incredibly flavorful and unique. Variations of sweet salty spicy made for a very exciting tasting pallet. Highly recommend for your brunch festivities. The chorizo hash was my favorite. Definitely coming back again.

If I could give zero stars I would. The bouncers here BEAT UP someone, possibly breaking his nose and shoulder. He is currently bleeding on the side of the road because the bouncers pushed him down the stairs and then beat. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!

I’m a foodie who’s lived in DC for 24 years, this place has the BEST tacos & quesadillas - unique, smokey taste - DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER -yes, it’s a bar but your mind will be blown by the food!

We went on Adams Morgan Day (local festival), but they were a big enough place that there was no wait. Prices are reasonable, service was slightly above average and the tacos were good. Our waitress checked on us just enough and seemed really genuine. It would have been 4*, but they added a 20% even though there was only two of us; the check had suggestions for additional tip. Nowhere on the menu did it say there would be a 20% charge automatically added and what it was for, as required by the DC Attorney General. We would’ve tipped more, but it’s the principal so we just left it as it was. Very deceitful.

Best tacos I have ever had. Barbacoa and Pollo tacos with the queso fundido were amazing and hand crafted drinks were delicious.

Their happy hour is pretty awesome given it's location. Had several Hellbender IPAs and my wife had a few cocktails. The guac n' chips were freshly made. The flautas (happy hour deal. GET THEM!) were also solid. Wife n' I bought tacos (carne asada n Baja). But forgot to take pics.but they were the best tacos we've had on the East Coast.

Everything was great except for the blonde bartender at the big screen bar (on second floor) who was excessively rude and disrespectful. Hopefully she'll learn how to treat people better, everyone is already going through a difficult life, having a drink at a bar shouldn't be another difficult experience for the patrons. I did not let her behavior affect my tip because she might be having a bad day but hopefully this will be a lesson for her.

Sticky floor, urine smell, and bartenders grabbed my drink and threw it out after leaving it on the counter for just a minute

The bouncer tonight wouldn’t let my friend in even though she is 22! Ridiculous! Then his other bouncer friend proved to him on the DMV website that she was actually 22 and he still refused to let her in. We are all over 21 but this man’s ego was so big he wouldn’t let any of us in. Then the next group to come in he wouldn’t let in either even though they were also over 21. Absolutely unacceptable. And not okay, he confiscated her ID and would not give it back for ages. Not okay!

Great local institution and great owners. Highly recommend for a great brunch or night out.

Good size space. The music is very teeny bopper, top hits. Lots of young kids jumping up and down. Not my vibe but it’s somebody’s for sure.

The manager was very active in helping servers and everyone was attentive and friendly. Went there during bachata night and highly recommend the oyster mushroom taco.
