A good store where they will help you pick out a suit or an entire outfit. Very friendly place when I went looking for a suit.

I was overcharged by my suit by almost 200 dollars. I been calling to get the status of my suit as i need it almost ASAP now. They keep taking down my number and saying they will call back. They have yet to call back. Terrible customer service.

They have a large selection of suits and Menswear but really the quality isn't that good. You go through several of them in each suit has something that somehow doesn't fit. It's cheaper than other places but still not worth the money in my opinion.

Wouldn’t trust them with my wedding. False promises, untrained staff, poor quality suit, wrong color.

I have worked around this location for the better part of 17 years. They have saved my bacon on so many occasions. I spilled coffee on my shirt before a big meeting, walked in they had me in a new shirt, had it pressed and out the door in a matter of minutes. I was in a suit and got invited to a Nationals game in the summer, walked in got shorts, a polo shirt, and some casual socks and out the door in no time. I have bought about 20 suits there over my time with them and all the experiences have been great.
I will be the first to admit that some of the staff changes over and there are some that are there for a pushy sale. Arthur "Art" has been there forever, and I will tell you that I would trust him with anything. He gets to know you, what you are looking for, and knows the fits and materials of every suit and piece of clothing in there.and he never forgets a face!
So many people are looking for the quick walk in and walk out, but in order to get a suit that feels good and fits right, you need to spend a little time, so be patient. You are not buying a Big Mac at McDonalds!
For the product, the price is worth it. I have tried Mens Wharehouse and K&G (Nightmare!), and others, and Joseph A. Bank is tops.

The service here is terrible. The clothes are decent and a good price. Representative was on the phone chatting for 10 minutes until I asked her if she could help me. She then measured me and gave me shirts that were too big. They tailored the suit and left the chalk marks on it and didn't press the cuffs on the pants. It was overall a poor experience aside from the price and clothes. I've since had to go though multiple steps to correct all their mistakes.

This Jos A Bank was the worst I have gone to.it took over a month and a half to get my suits tailored (they send them to Atlanta and are almost always delayed) and then when I finally did get them, one didn't fit. Upon bringing it back in the store the woman took another 2 inches off my waist and took the jacket in another inch (maybe i lost weight in the month and a half I was waiting for the suits.) I will not go back, although the manager was friendly about the re-tailoring.

It's like a black hole (or a Mr. Bean skit). You get sucked in by a sale and they screw up every part of the transaction, detaining you as long as possible. Beware.

Horribly unorganized. DON'T order anything to show up here, they won't be able to find it and you'll end up waiting forever.

Can't say enough positive things about Mr. Saidi, the Store Manager.
He went to greath length to accomodate my need to get a suit altered within 24 hours, was exceedingly helpful, friendly and knowledgable. It was a pleasure to do business with him and I do highly recommend his store.

This absolutely outstanding customer service deserves 5 stars without hesitation.

I called around to a number of Jos A Bank stores to find one with multiple suits in size 42 short portly. BJ at this store on the corner of 19th and M streets in DC said he had a lot, and I should come in. I came into town specifically for this. He tried to fit me into a 44 short which was too broad at the shoulders and too tight at the waist. He took 10 minutes to find out that they did not have a single 42 short portly in the store. I said good-bye and meant good riddance.

Went in to rent a tuxedo for a wedding, should have been a 5 minute job to find my name, measure me and get me out - it turned into a 45 minute fiasco of them being unable to locate me even though I had an email with the order number, the names of th wedding party and the suite style. Seriously now.

I've been to four different Jos. A Banks stores and this may be the best one. Quick service. Probably too many staff actually. Tailoring was quick and fairly reasonable given the sale price on items. 2 week wait on return of items is standard for this chain. Usually only shop here when there is a major sale.

Had a mix up at the dry cleaners and they switched my pants on me. I realized this at 8: 30am with an interview at 10am. I called this store and walked out with a pair of pants that were tailored and perfectly matched my suit jacket. Amazing service.

Terrible service - horrible experience.billing was screwed up twice, still not sure the amount i paid is right.taking a month to tailor 3 suits.i'd go elsewhere.won't be going back.

Good suit deal for me I work as an Company Executive. I will return for another day for a four suit to buy!
