Jumbo Slice Pizza reviews
16Hands down the worst pizza ever. Pre-made and sitting for hours to serve. Pizza was soggy and the server was standoffish to cut the pizza in half. Better pizza down the street IMO.
Great late night spot after being out on the town. Only issue was I got a supreme slice instead of meat lovers. It was still delicious
Meh. I've had a lot of Jumbo Silce before, but they don't have any menus, and only have cheese or pepperoni. No napkins, super dirty and the garbages were over flowing. The pizza slices live up to their names, but not my favorite place. Guess I was too sober.
Rude service. Wouldn’t turn around even when I was waiting for 5 minutes and tried getting their attention.
I love a good hole in the wall and I came across jumbo slice on accident i was visiting Dc it was late I was drunk and stumbling down the street and a bouncer to one of the bars told me this pizza place was open.even though the interior itself looks like a back alleyway I knew the pizza would be great. The slice was like 8 bucks but it’s HUGE as has the best taste in a pizza I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10
Granted nothing compares to a slice like New York City’s - but this is a great midnight spot to check out while in the area of DC
The pizza itself was very good. I couldn't give 5 stars because no hand sanitizer was available and not restroom to wash my hands before eating. When you walk up, you may question if the place is even open at first sight but once you order and bite into the pizza, you'll be glad you came. I will come back next time I'm in D. C.
I called to ask for delivery and they hung up on me. This is the second incident where they have treated me as a unwanted stepchild. 2 weeks ago I called and ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas when I came In I paid for my food and it was 2 cheese pizzas. I informed them that the order was wrong and they gave me an Attitude and it took 25 mins to remake 2 jumbo slices. I would personally never eat here again.
No vegan options at night and the staff is rude about it when you ask. They don’t have a single option for vegan people in 2022. I will never come back again.
Pizza was absolutely amazing. Owners were kind and proficient. Prepare to never go hungry again because one slice is actually just a whole pizza in disguise
The very best pizza in DC. Truly unbeatable in every way. Forget everything you know about other pizza places and come here
Drunken Duncan struck again. Bought 2 slices for $14. It’s not great quality but I do have to give them 3/5 stars bc they’re fast as hell, tolerate a lot of drunk Bullsh*t, and it is pizza. Even when it’s bad it’s good.
I had jumbo slice for the first time in 9+ years after moving away from the dmv, and let me tell you this place still hits the exact same. My partner tried to order an entire pizza, but the lady at the counter informed him they didn’t do that, so he ordered 4 jumbo slices. They unfortunately, put them all in one box, but he realized that he screwed up by ordering 4 pieces for 1 pregnant lady lol. Needless to say it was our lunch and dinner for the following day and night.
Order a buffalo chicken pizza. Most of the chicken on the pizza was literally gray- indicating that it was old. The taste of the chicken was disgusting. The lady working there was staring at us for a hot MINUTE without breaking contact…As we were eating the pizza, a literal RAT runs across the room into the door inside the pizza shop.
Great experience as far as the food goes, but $53 for 3 cans of pop and 4 slices while eating in a filthy dreck lobby was challenging. Box checked.
$10.50 for a Buffalo chick slice that literally had zero Buffalo sauce on it… overpriced completely, this is a negative 1000 rating compared to New York street pizza
