A raised platform trail through an oasis. You almost forget that you are in The Nation's Capital. Very nice to stroll over an afternoon.

A nice, under visited park in the area to go for a walk or bike ride and get outside the city a bit.

I'll come back to this place and review again in the spring/summer months. I enjoyed the quiet here and trails are clearly marked albeit not very long. Good for quiet reflection on the growth and decay of the wetlands in the middle of suburbia.

Lovely place to take a walk, even in the late fall when everything is a bit brown.

A beautiful place to go for a walk, bird watch, and if you’re lucky enough to find an open picnic table or bench - sit for a spell. Towards the back of the garden you’ll find an entrance to the boardwalk - a great opportunity to explore a unique wetland area. The park was quite busy when we visited in mid-July, but worth braving the crowds!

Lots of Great Egrets during Spring till Summer. Lotus flowers during July is an added bonus.
