Restaurant Kingbird reviews
4Christin was everything - she knew her wines, their regions and how to pair them with our needs for the evening - we had both the fish and the brioche stuffed chicken and both we de-boned and devoured - one of the great things about dining at Kingbird is its also in the Watergate hotel and they fully own the idea of its place in American history! Back to the food - the sides are amazing! The mushrooms and Pomme Pureè where phenominal and curated beautifully with deep complexity. Thank you Christin for making our time with you so special we cannot wait to return!
Avoid! Overpriced and food is disgusting. The food was really bad no flavor and my fish was undercooked to the point that I had to send it back. Our Waiter Henry was wonderful. The restaurant itself is beautiful.
Everything was good for me, the food, the service, the portion sizes and the service. I’d go back.
5-stars based on the brunch and breakfast while staying at the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing. We ate here twice and had the fried chicken, pancakes, sausage and biscuits, mussels, and burger. Favorite dishes were the fried chicken and mussels. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, crispy, savory, I couldn't have asked for better breakfast. The service could have been a bit more efficient, but overall the meal was delicious and I would definitely eat again when staying at the hotel.
