Book Store Kramers reviews
16Some evenings there's live music which in my experience has been great. The bookstore side has a quality selection of titles to choose from. If you're using dating apps I encourage you to consider this as a good place to meet someone for the first time to chat over coffee, tea, or an adult beverage.
Delicious breakfast. I recommend Kramers breakfast and waffles. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.
Waited at the table for 15 min without seeing anyone, then the waiter (ally I think? Some guy with dark hair) was extremely rude when we asked to order. Then didn’t bring half the things we asked for. It was expensive and mediocre
Honestly would have walked out because of the waiter. Save your time and money.
A wonderful bookstore and restaurant combo! We had dinner there one night (the burger was great) and then we came back the next day to explore the bookstore. Service was great, when we said we were splitting a burger and fries, they cut it and split it for us, a very nice touch!
Epitome in comfort-food: it is truly a 'Cheers' experience: they make you feel welcome and nourish your soul and mind.
= wheelchair accessible and spaceous with accommodating staff
= The food was ok.great coffee
Have taken several international groups here in the past, and Kramers is always a hit. The menu is a bit small, but that can also be useful with larger groups. Food is excellent, nice beer selection, and staff are always nice as well. The chance to go peruse books while you're waiting for food is also nice as well. Highly recommend the patio out back when the weather is nice. Am planning on making a late night visit sometime as well.
Always pretty solid. The seating outside in the back is bountiful and a nice environment. Service is quick and friendly. Breakfast all day is always fun and they do it pretty well.
Delicious food in a casual setting. Varied menu with adult food too. Loved the crispy sprouts.
Fantastic little book shop with cafe/bar. Great beer and wine. Didn't eat but all the food we saw come out looked really good. Love jazz from a fantastic trio on the Sunday night we dropped in.
Aww yeah. This place is amazing. A food, a bar and books? ! Genius. I wish it was bigger. PS, less Stephen King and look at Harlan Ellison!
Historic local bookshop with a great cafe and bar attached. I like how the nonfiction selection caters to a DC audience.
A fantastic selection of non-fiction books, with staff that are actively helpful. Great coffee, amazing selection, and great prices. I regularly find books here that are cheaper than other options online.
Cashier recognized the book I picked out, and we had a great conversation about it while he bagged it. Exactly what a small bookstore should be
Fantastic bookstore with a great cafe. Awesome cocktails and tea, and friendly service! Fairly crowded however, due to its proximity to Dupont Circle.
A great casual place. Food is always good; you know what to expect. The Sunday night jazz is fun
