Service was excellent, drinks are good, food is good. Old place/HISTORIC. Booths are SMALL, not much room for a party of 4.

Wow! The absolute best food and experience we have ever had! I know that’s a strong statement but it’s the truth.

We cannot wait to come back and make this place our new hotspot!

We started with their famous French Onion Soup, and my mouth is watering thinking about it. The best way to describe it would be a French Dip Sandwich in a soup form, it was amazing. The crab cakes were also phenomenal. The sauce paired with those was incredible.

The filet was cooked perfectly to order, which is also farm to table. Everything from the broccoli, carrots, bread, and wine was perfect. We paired our steak with a Cabernet 2017, that was amazing. $46 bottle of wine, tasted very similar to a $200 bottle of Caymus.

To finish off, we took our servers recommendation on a homemade Lava Cake dessert…. Again mouth watering.

Our server was INCREDIBLE! She was a phenomenal person who truly cared about our experience and ensured we loved everything 100%. She was working several tables but showed us so much attention and we greatly appreciated it. Not only was the food the best we’ve ever had, but with the exceptional service we received made it that much better.

I cannot recall her name but we dined on Saturday Nov 13 around 11pm. We sat at the 2 top directly next to the entrance. She absolutely deserves recognition for her level of customer service, restaurant knowledge, and recommendations. She was able to give us the full history of the restaurant as well which is impressive.

Thank you to everyone we can’t wait to come back!

Food was tasteless. I had the chicken milanese- dry, totally tasteless. I basically didn’t eat the meal. My daughter got the fish and chips. Tasteless except for the good tarter sauce - Probably from a jar. Thank goodness for salt! When the manager came up to inquire about our meal, I told him about how uneatable our food was, and he said said he would comp the meals. I didn’t want to make a scene, and I assumed he would just take care of eliminating at least my meal. We have been coming here here for years and I was so disappointed in the quality of the food. We got a bill for the whole check like nothing transpired. Almost $80 for not eating our meal at all. Won’t go back which is so sad since we have been coming to Billy Martins for years.

Loved coming here. Just to experience history, but the food was great as well. The French onion soup was awesome. Come just to sit in one of the booths.

Came here twice and the experience wasn't great either time. The servers aren't friendly and the prices are so high & you don't even get what you pay for. I ordered a vodka sprite and got a vodka water and when I asked for the drink I ordered they just topped it off with flat sprite that tasted horrible. Didn't even try to remake it. The burgers were $19 each and neither one was cooked to the temperature we requested and included toppings we specifically asked to be removed. They clearly just don't care

The service was excellent, however, I did expect more from the food. The broth of french onion soup was good, but our cheese was charred. The grilled pork chop was under seasoned and the Mac and cheese was a bit too salty. We understand the price of crab meat has gone up tremendously, but my husband ordered a surf and turf with a crab cake. He expected a full size crab cake for an extra $20, but got a petite crab cake!

The Carmel sauce and ice cream on the bread pudding was delicious, however the bread pudding had raisins in it which I don’t like. I picked out all the raisins and I must say it was still good.

We will only return to bring my father who wants to try the soup, but aside from that visit, this Tavern won’t be top of mind for us.

Great spot with some history! Staff was on top of it and friendly. Food was slightly underwhelming but still enjoyable! They decorated for the holidays and it was very homey!

Great place for the atmosphere, you never know what kind of adventure you'll stumble into walking up to the bat here!
Fantastic late 8Os, club music after 10pm!
Food is fair quality sometimes great, sometimes off.service the same but it's all about the crowd, music and atmosphere!

Great authentic pub. Been around since the thirties. Good place to chat with some of the locals about the area. Nice big menu with brunch, lunch and dinner selections. Food is very good. Great French onion soup! Good active atmosphere. Outdoor sidewalk seating. Great place to hang out for a bit in a beautiful town.

My friend and I had a shepherds pie. When I took a first bite, it tasted funny and asked waiter if this is normal. He said that it must be the cheese. Now both my friend and I are sick (nauseous and vomiting). I suspect that we have food poisoning.

Very sad

The food was awesome and my new york strip was cooked perfectly! My 'chocolate awesome' dessert hit the spot with my chocolate craving! Definitely a place to experience if you are in the area, but expect to pay a pretty penny when you are there.

My Stepdaughter goes to Georgetown. My fiance and I have visited Martin's twice now while visiting. The staff is so friendly. And the ppl we've met there who are regulars have already become friends. We will be frequenting Martin's often.

What a gem! I stumbled into this restaurant just walking around and I’m so glad I did! The staff is so helpful and friendly and it’s filled with a lot of history inside. I went by myself and sat at the bar and had lovey conversation with a couple of locals who also raves about this place. You can’t go to Georgetown and not come here. Highly recommend!
