A great place to watch people including one inspiring police from five (5) plus squad cars and later a Fire Dept.ambulance too! There always seemed to be lots of activity every time we visited when heading out from our nearby hotel. Even Google's pictures appear to be showing some sort of demonstration

McPherson is once again a tranquil and beautiful enclave in the heart of the District. ALL the "yard art" has been forcefully removed. The new Mayor is doing a great job cleaning up our Nations' Capitol!

Top notch park / installation.the "lawn ornaments" are a great commentary on what's wrong with this country.

Unfortunately, this once beautiful Park is now a homeless encampment. Fortunately, Farragut Sq, Franklin Park, and Lafayette Sq are all close by and beautiful.

Update- The park was finally cleaned up! I am looking forward to being able to sit in the park on nice days again.

This was once a really nice park that you could walk through and even stop by on a bench, now it is absolutely overrun with homeless tents and I swear every time I walk by there is police activity as a result. Blows my mind that a park so close to the White House and nice hotels/restaurants is allowed to be overrun like this. Enter at your own risk.

Thankfully homeless people have a safe haven here in this city. Surely this small patch of grass can be sacrificed for someone who wouldn't ordinarily have a safe place to sleep.

No excuse to leave homeless like this in 2023! Use your taxes, clean it up, and find an alternative place for these poor people!
