My first interaction was met with a well educated and kind staff. Everyone was knowledgable in regards to their duties. My future plans for my well being by this staff is beyond what I expected. Vast knowledge have me feeling that I will be in a good and safe environment. Looking forward to the options presented for my situation.

Such care and pointed attentiveness. In and out; and just like that my regular needs were checked up on. Another great day at the doctor's office.

Services at Washington Hospital Center are priceless, they treat my mother like she is family, and that makes her feel valuable, important, and confident that the treatment is best fitted for her and her needs.

I have been here since the 29th and I have had someone with me the whole time even throughout the night only for one nurse to ask if he was spending the night and I said yes and then told her I don't like her so she got the charge nurse that only focus on visitors have to leave at 8 didn't even want to hear what I had to say about the rude nurse and yes I swiped everything off my table and she ran out and called security. The rule of no one can stay with you over night is ridiculous. Nobody knows what that person support is for you

Nurses and doctors are great, but don’t you dare have any questions once you are discharged - miserable experience scheduling follow-ups and getting help

The doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. She included me in all decisions. She listened with care. She also addressed all of my issues and concerns.
The support staff at the front desk checked me in promptly and with courtesy. The techs in the lab were attentive, professional and very courteous. This was one of my best experiences at this hospital.
Thank you!

Visitor Policy for ICU End-of-Life Patient - NO HEART AT ALL

My Grandfather was transferred to your hospital facility on Thursday, 4 Jan. The doctors and nurses did all they could to save my grandfather, but his heart was not responsive to the medication. We appreciate them. However, the facility and the policy for visitors are absolutely wrong. His children could not be in the room with their father simultaneously. Which makes NO Sense whatsoever! If someone told you, that unfortunately, although your father is dying you can't be with him. I think you would not be so understanding, upset is an understatement. We had family members come up to the hospital to be turned away. They were not even able to see their family members. My grandfather is loved by his family, he is the patriarch, and to make this decision without his entire family's support is horrible. Breaking up families during such a difficult time. YOU are adding to the GRIEF!

We are outside of a pandemic environment, and that was hard enough. The treatment my family experienced from your security and facility is considerable the worst I have ever experienced within the medical community and plain wrong. I BEG all not to bring their loved ones to this facility. Especially, for end-of-life treatment. THIS has been one of the hardest situations, and to now have to deal with staff/security about visitation for a love one who is dying. That is unheard of and terrible. The hospital should have been more concerned about the upkeep of the facility vs.who is visiting patients at the end of life. The trash wasn't dumped in the room for 2 days straight, we dumped the trash (3 trash cans), and the bathroom in the room wasn't cleaned for 2 days. The bathrooms on the main entrance floor and the ground/2nd/4th floor were nasty/disgusting. The hospital specializes in cardiovascular care, but YOU HAVE NO HEART! I want to hear from the director of the hospital, not a patient relations team member. I have left a message on the patient advocacy line as well (3 times). And I have submitted a message through the feedback portal. No response!

This is specific for the Neurosciences Center. Check in was easy and quick. Dr. Sharma was great. Took time to really explain everything that was going on and how we were going to proceed. Answered all my questions. Acknowledged all my concerns and how to address them.

The waiting time is too long, I waited 8 hours. I arrived at the emergency room at 12: 30 am, they sent me to have blood tests and then they sent me to the waiting result room, There I waited 6 hours for them to give me the results. The doctor arrived around 6: 00 am to give me the instructions for the medications, then she told me that she was going to go and bring me the prescriptions and the discharge and she did not return, I waited almost 2 hours for them to discharge me. I was asking several people about the doctor or the nurse who was treating me and they had already finished their shift, they left without discharge me, they forgot about me. Until I asked to somebody else they discharged me.

I'm not sure if this pls should be called emergency. The wait time here can worsen a patient. I was here for 6 hours after a car accident. No radiology or test was made. I was given 2 Tylenol pills and one pad divided into 2 to place on the parts of my body where I was hurt. The room was dusty. They didn't after the previous patient, and I didn't want to lay down on the same bed. Please find your way to other emergency room.

This hospital literally killed my dad. He went in for a routine bypass and they made an incision that was unattended and got infected and he got sepsis. Horrendous care, do not go to any medstar facility.
