9 "Mi Cuba Cafe" is a real nice cafe and restaurant offering delicious and affordable Cuban cuisine.
The staff works really hard and fast. Although; at times there is a wait to be seated as is a smallish space, the wait is worth it. "Mi Cuba Cafe" was a regular pitstop for me when working in DC.
One can find fried plantains and pulled pork sandwiches, Cuban stew, tasty flans, good to the last drop Cuban coffee, nice ambience, cozy neighborhood, and a feel of Havana.
A very nice, cozy place and any excuse is good to share with family, friends or a date. I live in New York. And I was visiting the city, if you are around, go and visit.
Absolutely disappointed ordered a cuban and yuca with mojo the woman already had an aditude when ordering guess she never heard or understood me brought out a huge plate of yuca we sat waiting for the sandwich finally asked about it was told we only ordered yuca said no asked for a cuban and yuca was told no and made to feel it was my fault that she didn't hear me or understand me guess I should have ordered in Spanish
Great little Cuban restaurant.much better than the restaurant chains. Loved the roast pork.
I really like this place! Affordable + delicious! Ropa vieja and Vaca frita are the best plates
Food was good, waiter was great, but there was a girl that claim was from Cuba she had a different shirt from waiter so I guess she had a higher position, I asked some questions about the traditional food in Cuba and she replied with a nasty attitude, even she sent the check before we even ask for it and the place was not busy at all, we never was disrespectful in any way an I used to work in restaurants as well and understand sometimes you have your own problems but never gave nasty attitude to my customers, felt like asking for her manager but did not want to make a scene in front of my guest, she ruined the whole experience.
Tasty and sufficient food. The staff service is excellent. Visit them and see for yourself. I give it 6 stars; but, the maximum is 5.
I had the Lechon Asado and it was excellent. The servers were also super nice. Really solid spot. I'll be here again soon!
