The costumer service is the worst. The oxtail was trash.and the jerk wings were undercooked. They need to be shut down

The 4 stars isn’t for the food.

The food is awesome! The Jerk Chicken is very flavorful but also very hot! Oxtails are to die for, thick, rich gravy, tender, everything you’d expect. The beans and rice could use a bit more flavor but still good. Same for the cabbage.

I only gave 4 stars because there’s no place to sit inside, unlike one other location that I’ve been to (don’t remember where it was), and the customer service could use a little help. They weren’t rude just not excited to serve people.

Either way, it’s worth it. Try this location or another. I’ve been to two now, while traveling for business in this area and I haven’t been disappointed.

The food was good, not great, but I ordered Uber eats so it arrived cold and my beef patty was missing. The store forgot it because the bag was stapled shut of course. Then there is no way to call and talk to anyone at the store, just an automated system and it tells you no one is available. It’s really sad and uber eats doesn’t refund you anymore, like there is just no solution. Order at your own risk, basically.

Sorry to report, it's a never again for me. I had the most flavorless jerk chicken & rice ever. The curry sauce was also bland. The chicken patty was good, but the rest gets a hard no. Disappointed since they used to cook so good back in the days.

Wow! Just returned back to DC and made a trip to Negril! My Goodness the Curry Goat was EXCELLENT! Chef put their FOOT in IT! The Jerk Wings were a compliment and I ATE it ALL. No sharing! Thank You!

This is my favorite go-to place (DC, Georgia Ave) when I want to have brunch and extend breakfast to lunch. The restaurant opens at 10: 30AM so I order then and this meal can last into dinner because of the portion size. Although in this pic there are only 4 potatoes and a few pieces of meat, typically they include more meat and potatoes. Nevertheless, this "dinner" usually comes with curry chicken, cabbage and rice but the rice is too crunchy so I choose to double the rice. The food is delicious.

Disappointed so to write. This favor taste no authentic enough; very water down and truly negril (from nyc to atl) represents better than this…. Not sure if this has no affiliation but trust I know true jamaican food. Only good thing was the rum cake. I managed the curry (which is never my favorite) but their brown stew awful; jerk ok.

Food was so delicious! I order with doordash and the food was still nice and hot while delivering to me

There were flies in my drink!

I recently ordered from here expecting high service like I usually get from this restaurant and when I finally got my food I looked at my drink and when I unwrapped the plastic and stuck my straw in I took one sip and felt something clumpy in my mouth and spat it out only to see two more flies one was dead and the other was twitching.and saw what looks like a fly twitching in my drink. I do not blame my delivery guy because everything was wrapped up and he couldn’t see it but the restaurant should have seen those three flies in my drink before wrapping the cup in plastic and sending it to me.

SMH I order to entrees one curry that’s small and one large jerk and my jerk look the same size as my curry the jerk 12 something and curry 10 A waste of time fr

Best Jamaican food I have had in a long time. Everything I had was great. Super great service.

Continently located and great lunch special! Roti is tasty but a little expensive. Overall fantastic spot for Jamaican food.

I tried it recently. I got the curry chicken and roti. I thought it was good, but reading the reviews, I'll be cautious!

I would’ve posted a picture but I ate the food already! Some of the tastiest Jamaican food in dc. I got the jerk chicken platter, beef Patties, cocoa bread, rum cake, peas and rice, cabbage, and D&G cream soda, and plantanos. All in all the food was EXCELLENT. Probably one of the beef Patties I’ve had. Peas and rice were amazing and full of flavor as well as the cabbage and cocoa bread. Only thing is the rum cake was more rum than cake (still tasted amazing) but idk if I’d give it to someone under 21 lol! Jerk chicken was also wonderful although I wish it was a little juicier. All in all will be going back and recommend everything, but especially the beef Patties.

My Curry Shrimp meal was delicious. My homeboy and I enjoyed are meals. The customer service was superb. Parking is difficult!

I typically eat at the Negril location in Silver Spring, but I was at work in DC and decided to try this one. So, I decided to order a delivery through grubhub. Man oh man was this a bad decision.

It was terrible! And I will never do it again. The food was promised for between 1: 48-1: 58 then they kept sending text messages saying the food was delayed. Apparently, the restaurant was running behind. My food finally arrived at 2: 37p. Then the curry chicken was not fully cooked and was red. The rum cake tasted old and stale. I ended up throwing out the cake and took the chicken home to finish cooking it. After I cooked the chicken it tasted better. And it was white like cooked chicken should be. Terrible! Do not waste your money at this location. You'll be better going to the one in Silver Spring, unless, you wanna eat here and get salmonella from uncooked meat.
But you wanna live and avoid a lengthy conversation with the bathroom go to the Silver Spring location, their food is fully cooked, taste good, and is fresh!

Yes the food is good. I love the curried vegetable and sorrel. But look.you open the door and there is a vibe. That's the attraction here.

Curry platter. Awful. Meat tender, flavor missing. Soursop drink excellent. Plantains. Almost. Overrall I wouldn’t call this Yardi food.
