9Amazing restaurant! I had the duck with noodles, it was hot and delicious, fast service, reasonable price.
The service was very poor. We went for dinner, not even close to the closing time, yet the waiter was always in a hurry to collect our dishes, even when there was still food. He asked if I was done when I was still chewing my previous bite. I felt rushed. I had one of the Pho soups. The broth was tasteless. The prices are too high but I guess this is the norm in downtown.
Nice Asian cuisine covering a lot of different areas. The yellow curry was super creamy, little spice but extremely warming. Hong Kong pork was great, sweet pork and stuff noodles. Couldn't even get a pic of the mango sticky rice, didn't last long enough for picture.
I ate here once and that was enough, the food was horrible and with not flavor, the service terrible, but the worst was when I payed and didn’t put a tip cause nothing was good, I walked out from the restaurant when I realized a woman behind me was running to me, (was our waitress) screaming angry that why I didn’t give her a tip, I was shocked cause she was claiming me for her tip, I gave her $5 cause was my first day in DC and was all that I had but that situation was the worst of my life.
Stopped here for a quick bite.got the chicken tacos and wonton. They were decent but nothing too fantastic
Friendly ambient and friendly waiter. Melas aren’t that big but fair for the price. Ordered 1 coke and got a refill 2 times without it being on the bill. Food came quick, but the restaurant wasn’t that busy.
Ordered soy sauce chicken with rice, red curry, pho chin and HK duck noodles, and spring roll for $70.
The not-so-good: the chicken is dry, the sauce is a far cry from what you’d find in Hong Kong or a Southeast Asian place; the duck noodles were stuck together in a giant unappetizing blob; the pho had very dry beef and mild flavor.
The good: the red curry was decent, and the duck noodle soup was quite good.
I rarely feel compelled to leave a review, but after having lunch at Noodles on 11 on a Saturday, I did feel the need to share my experience. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. We were so pleased with our experience that we came back the same weekend and the server even recognized us. My biggest regret is that we aren’t local to DC so we can’t become regulars for this location.
