Other Half Brewing Washington DC reviews
12I really like this place, I wish that they had more on draft. They had a lot of 4pks available for purchase but no way to sample. I am not good with names but the 2 gentleman and lady with dreads were awesome!
We stopped at Other Half Brewing before a dinner reservation and we are so totally going back! It was a HUGE space which was so unexpected. It’s tucked away and they did a fantastic job of making the space feel private, cool, and welcoming. They have a large selection of IPA’s (good for my husband) and a few other styles of beer. I tried their cider and it was perfect. Not too sweet and very flavorful! Highly recommend and will be back!
Super cool space (I imagine it's packed on the weekends) - a lot of indoor & outdoor places and seems like plenty of room to spread out. The beer was delicious too - great selection of a variety of types and even a NA IPA on draft! Definitely recommend if you like good craft beer
There's a reason Other Half are turning up in multiple cities; the beer is so good.
We visited on a quiet afternoon and had a great time. The staff were super friendly and obviously the beer is exceptional.
We really liked the neighbourhood vibe.
Beer was great, the patio area was really nice with a lot of seating, a few tvs and nice clean bathrooms. They had a food truck outside and a few people had their dogs. I would definitely recommend.
I am so glad that Other Half has a venue in the DMV! After building my brewery pallet in NJ/NY, I know that Other Half is one of the most respected & valued (not so micro) breweries known to the industry. Having built such an amazing crew & company was no easy task and I am delighted that a taste from home is still nearby.
This amazing venue has the space and perfect build to its neighboring community. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the area to check out OH. OH is best known for its smoothest TIPAs, I have had the pleasure to taste more than 50 of their craft beers and by far will always produce and distribute nothing but the best quality in their batches.
Thank you for expanding this far! I appreciate all the strategies that were used to make this exceptional company reach this far. Coming from a little shop in Centre St, BK to interstate cities is the best decision made. Go to the brewery if you haven't, you will not regret it.
This is one of the top 10 breweries on the entire East Coast and a must-stop if you are an IPA fan, however their tasters are really small and not filled to a normal level. Some of their 10 ounce pours are small and cost $8-10. All drafts are very overpriced. However the $20 4-packs are a good value.
Great extension for the NYC brand. Good looking bar, great beers, friendly staff and dog friendly too. There was an Asian food truck on site when we visited, didn’t order anything.
Absolutely fantastic (and huge space) with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service is expert level and super friendly, which goes a long way given all the great beer options they have. I had the Snowbirds Maple (on-site only) this go around. Just an amazing and smooth pastry stout. That, paired with awesome service and the fun patio/light/mister fans rolling, made for a great visit. And if you’re looking for beer to go, a huge row of cases pretty much has it all. Great to see Other Half rocking it in this DC space for going on 3 years now.
Large outdoor seating with both covered and sunny tables, most are long for accommodating groups. Low-level music supports conversation, unlike Wundergarden. Wide range of beer styles. Standouts for me were The bock and cascadia dark. Session IPA turned out to be a hazy.
No Happy Hour but 16-oz pints ranged around $7-9, with smaller pours available. Ordering from a center bar station might be a chokepoint when busy unless more bartenders are used.
Snacks were untried but a great sandwich shop is across the street.
Brewhouse is adjacent but no great views into it.
Open a few years now, very nice vibe and house beers.
Awesome brewery with huge selection of drafts and plenty of space. Went on a Saturday afternoon/evening and found plenty of space outside and inside along with an in-depth draft selection. My only negative remark is that they should have offered the trippel canned/bottled. I will definitely visit next time I’m in DC
