Phoenix Park Hotel, Washington DC

Do yourself a favor by staying at the Phoenix Park. The attention to detail and commitment to customer care is beyond impeccable. From the moment you arrive you will feel at home. Beautiful hotel, amazing location and a truly remarkable team.

Great location for a great price. Just a few blocks away from the Capitol, which makes for a glorious sight at night. Superb service at the front desk. Rooms are beautiful, modern, well-appointed and squeaky clean. The character of this building is what makes it truly special. Each floor features amazing art pieces and furniture in the elevator lobbies and hallways, like staying in a museum! There is also a cool pub attached, and we were each given a voucher for a free Guinness there. Can't beat that! I wish the proprietors of this lovely place many years of prosperity, but I hope they can keep the attractive price point because it really is one of the best values in town.

Very nice hotel! Bring your own soap, the stuff they give you is smaller than a butter packet.

We had our wedding reception at the Phoenix Park three years ago and now we love to go back for our anniversary each year. We have never been disappointed and it’s a just a very special place for us. The service is always amazing - the staff members go above and beyond to make you feel like more than just a hotel guest. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice aesthetic…some are small, but we usually get the King Deluxe which has plenty of space. It’s just a really nice family-owned hotel. I can’t say enough good things…we just love it there. Highly recommend!

Excellent staff at front and in the Dubliner. Very clean room, comfortable beds and awesome pillows. One thing I would mention is that there is only a white shade on the window so the room doesn't get very dark and we just happened to be in a room that was facing sunrise so the sun beamed right through the shade early in the morning. Other than that the hotel was great! Short walk to Union Station.

Very close to Union station making it metro accessible. Rooms were well decorated and the front desk staff was super friendly!

The service all around, each individual we came across, was extraordinary which overshadowed an error in communication over the type of room I had, issues with wi-fi, and the extra parking lot inconveniences (but it wouldn't be D. C.without that). They provided stellar recommendations for travel, dining, and any questions I did have. My son most enjoyed the free hot chocolate on the 2nd floor and the gym. I loved the ambience and location close to the metro. We had an amazing vacation and really enjoyed this hotel

This hotel was great for us to walk to and from amtrak. It had a very nice Irish pub attached. We were able to walk to everything from the hotel even to the Arlington Cemetary. The rooms are smaller and the bathroom a bit cramped but no complaints. All staff were very friendly and eager to help always

What an amazing room and terrific staff! We planned a weekend getaway with friends from Texas and the Phoenix Park Hotel was the perfect setting and location. Access to The Dubliner was awesome! The room was extremely clean and we felt that the hotel created a very safe environment for us. Thanks to the entire Phoenix Park team for making our weekend memorable.

If I was to go back to DC. I would stay here again. Nice rooms, GREAT STAFF. Several places to eat near bye.

Very clean. Super friendly staff. Complimentary Coffee. Great location, a cross from Union Station metro and close to National Mall. Rooms are kinda small but extremely clean (and I'm kinda picky:)

The Phoenix is within walking distance to attractions in DC. The location also has quick access to city bus service

Derrick, Robin and Fifi is AMAZING. Hospitality, cleanliness, food is on point. Central location. Grear rooms. Best experience ever.

It is always such a pleasure to stay at this hotel – by far, my favorite in the D. C. The staff is always so courteous, well informed, and helpful. They make the experience seamless. And location. Its walking distance to everything!

The staff was outstanding during our weekend stay! They were helpful each time we interacted with them! Our first night staying at the hotel, we noticed the drains in our shower and sink were clogged, and the front desk staff took care of it before we returned. The downside to our stay was that the sheets had rips in them, the comforter was clearly worn down after so many washes, the top of the headboard was dusty, and to top it off, we were bitten by bed bugs! I had the classic track marks on my torso, back of my arms, legs, and bottom of my feet! My significant other had them on his hands, arms, and back. We tried to address the matter quietly, but they have done nothing about it! All bites are gone for us both, and have only left scarring, thankfully! I would recommend the hotel ONLY because we had a very easy stay, outside of the obvious issue. I would have loved to return, seeing as how I will be in D. C.more often over the course of this coming year, but their lack of care or concern has me quite displeased!
