Deli PoppaBox reviews
17This place is like heaven! From the ice cream to the delicious food, Manna from heaven is all that comes to my mind! Thank you Jesus!
Great place for a quick lunch but I wish they keep up on cleaning the tables after a customer leave. They look a little messy.
We were walking around the area and found this little place. They got a little of everything. Great place to grab some food to go.
Not the greatest. Food is bland. Too much meat barely enough rice. I agree with someone else comment that he has mall food taste. Doesn't offer condiments via doordash delivery for the different foods in the poppabox.
California roll taste old pre-rolled.not fresh. WILL NOT RETURN!
Great value (especially for the area!) but memorable,
We ordered a poppabox with teriyaki chicken. The chicken was very moist and comparable to the samples you receive at mall foodcourts. It was a very generous serving of rice and chicken and was easy to split between two people.
The box comes with a roll of sushi, 1 piece of tempura shrimp, and 2 pieces of tempura sweet potatoes, as well as a fruit medley.
Overall you can't beat the price for the amount of food you receive however I'll compare the quality and taste too a mall food court. Certainly nothing wrong with that and there's many times that is exactly what you're craving.
I made it in there right at the nick of time, because as I was ordering that were getting ready to close. I had been working all day at GW and had barely eaten anything, so by this time I was keeling over with hunger. They have a pretty decent selection of bowls that I wasn't familiar with, so I decided to order the steak and cheese sandwich platter. They call their steak something exotic, but I knew it was basically beef from a cow with some spices added to it. After I placed my order, I took a walk around the nearby park which was nice. When I made it back to the restaurant, my order was prepared and ready to go. The cost was $10.00 even plus tax which is sort of on the high end, but the price didn't matter to me at that point. I took my food with me back to the park and commenced to eating a few bites. The meat wasn't tough and it had a nice soothing flavor to it. I then started off on my long walk home finishing off the fries which were pretty good also!
Really friendly service, generous portion sizes. I tried the pork and steamed white rice-flavorful and spicy.
Solid offering in the PoppaBear! A waffle sandwich with fried chicken and bacon. Sign me up! But I knock it down a star given the "price per chicken and bacon ratio" wasn't quite what I was hoping.
Still, I'd go back to try other offerings.
Great place for lunch. Have never been dissatisfied. Very cheerful and helpful staff. Not much seating.
Really good! Great value, fast service, excellent taste. Would def recommend and will come back!
The food is great! The prices are a laugh-out-loud joke. $6 for a milkshake made me guffaw and it was pretty bland to boot. Considering Penn Grill is next door making even tastier versions of the same dishes for less money, and can make it faster, there is zero reason to come to PoppaBox.
My favorite 'Has-it-all' neighborhood Asian fusion place. Friendly counter service with a menu that spans from bento boxes to wraps to Nutella waffles. Lots of good veggie options as well. By your second visit, they will know your name.
Great for a quick lunch. Good food, good selection. Super fast even when busy. I like that they have 4 sizes of everything. You can order the same thing in a "tiny", small, large, and "poppa size"! I didn't know what bulgogi was, so they gave me some to try before I ordered!
Great local spot for a quick, delicious lunch that won't break the bank. The mini bowl is the perfect amount of food at lunchtime, and a full entree can easily cover two meals.
Speedy, efficient, and delicious. Reasonable choices without being too large of portion sizes. Could stand to see less rice when it's included, end up throwing some away, but otherwise delicious. Excellent lunch spot. Nice in warm weather too, when they open up to the outside.
Very good place, especially for student and workers around foggy bottom. Healthy and fresh food
