Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Washington DC

Got a turkey club on inauguration day. They let me use the bathroom, which was nice. Barked at me when i tried to sit down and eat it, even though the table was clearly marked as ok to sit and I was masked up, and there were no other customers. Not a dan of chain eateries and this is why. Still, on balance an ok experience.

Just visited this place for a milkshake and received the worst customer service. Person ahead of me ordered two milkshakes so maybe the employee was annoyed that I also ordered one, but she made a rude face as I asked for an oreo milkshake and then proceeded to slam the blender and throw stuff around. I said "You know what, never mind" and left. Awful customer service.

I was just thrilled to find a place downtown where you could spend a little time eating a sandwich! It's the little things right? ! The crew here has done an excellent job of limiting proximity between tables and are using top notch PPE. They even have a clean and well sanitized restroom. If you're in downtown, stop by and support this small business!

It was great! I love their chicken salad sandwiches, and it was really good especially since I hadn't had one in a while. I was uptown on "K" Street NW enjoying my sandwich because there aren't many Potbellys in the Ward 7 and 8 areas of Washington DC.

My daughter suggested Potbelly’s have gone before and enjoyed it. We were not disappointed we had a meatball sub, ham and cheese and their chili. All were delicious but most of all their staff was friendly and served to please. Will definitely come back.

As always, my milkshake was on point. So much ice cream and the cup is always full. You get what you paid for! And the two women who worked there that evening were so friendly and happy!

Very disappointed overall! I hvnt been to this location in sometime as I no longer wrk in the area. VERY short staff; one person preparing sandwiches or salads, no one at the ice cream area, one cashier; one person doing paper wrk leaning over some sort of equipment; NOT cleanliness at all! Trash/food on the floor near the sink where u wash ur hands; Store just appears to be abandon! More like a warehouse some sort. VERY DISPLEASED!

As far as Potbelly's go, this one is great. The line is very fluid because a person with a tablet comes around the line to input your order before you even get to the counter.

Great sandwiches, salads, and cookies, plus a variety of drink choices. During busy times they have someone with a tablet who takes the orders, which makes it go quickly. Another great Potbelly location.

What fast food should be: fast, consistent, reliably open with good hours. Also solid sandwiches with decent ingredients.

Great place to stop in for lunch. It’s in a great location. This is a very clean restaurant. The employees seem to take pride in their work. The food is affordable and delicious. The staff also is very efficient. They try to get you your food out as quickly as possible, without having the quality of the food suffer.

Great, quick place for subs at a reasonable price. Love the smoothies and shakes as well. My only complaint? The tuna is absolutely terrible. I have never had a more terrible tasting tuna sandwich in my life. Not only does it taste like cardboard, you're barely given any on the sandwich. So, if you visit, avoid the tuna at all costs.

This is a great stop for lunch. Affordable, tasty sandwiches made quickly. Staff were always pleasant and efficient, and the store was always well-kept and clean. Near a lot of office buildings, so convenient for a quick lunch during work hours.

Trying bacon, egg, and cheddar on a blueberry breakfast square at 19th and L Street, NW, D. C. Abundant seating. No wait at 9: 00 a.m. Lots of windows for people watchers. Upbeat music. Tasty cookies are fresh in the morning. Good for the entire family if visiting the Whitehouse, World Bank, or State Department. 3 stars

I was given a burnt flat bread sandwich. Sad part of it all is that the employees knew they were giving me a burnt sandwich.

Great sandwiches in a convenient location close to GWU. Good service that is fast, and clean restaurant. Had live music during my visit, which was a bonus!

I love Potbelly's and have been getting sandwiches from them since 2005. I frequently eat at this specific location for lunch. Good quality food and the long lunch line moves fairly swiftly. Friendly staff makes the ordering experience pleasant enough. The Wreck sandwich is great and their tuna salad and chicken salad sandwiches are also delicious.

I frequently eat here after meetings on L or K Street. It's nothing fancy but it's very satisfying, and never too expensive. Great for people watching at key times of the day, too, as people walk to and from their offices.
