This was the second time eating at the restaurant after an amazing first experience last year. The food was as delicious as last time. Their Palak chaat is a must. However their service was horrible. We waited 40 mins before someone took our order (i asked for it), food came in another 40 mins. Server was very rude and never checked on us for anything. I had to ask a different server for additional breads and we were told the kitchen is closed. This is the first time i haven’t tipped at a restaurant (usually to 15-25% based on the service) but the service was disastrous and ruined our experience. Other tables also had a similar experience

The chicken green masala, the bindi sambhariya, and the malai palak were good

The service and atmosphere were really good

Reservation recommended before arriving

Stunning, beautiful restaurant. The food is incredible. Each dish was a new cinary adventure. I was blown away by the flavor. The only issue we ran into was that we asked to be seated outside and it took 20 minutes to order and I felt like they kept forgetting us.

The amazing food made up for it.

The Palak Chaat was one of the most unique, delicious dishes I've ever tried. Fried spinach. I know, right? But this reading that was so crisp and just perfect. Then the delicious sauce and garnish. It was incredible. It doesn't sound fancy. It doesn't look fancy but the textures and flavors are phenomenal.

I got the 3 meat platter. The salmon had a light almost nutty savory flavor that reminded me of pumpkin. The salmon 2as perfectly cooked. The chicken was amazing. I am used to chicken Tikka masala with a lot of sauce but this one was dry but very delicious. Finally the lamb kebab was spicy but insanely delicious and flavorful.

Naan of course was light and perfect. Rice was divine

This was one of the best meals I've ever had.

Very Poor Service overall. Took forever to get items like papaddum that can be roasted in 30 seconds took 30 mins. I had to remind the waiter of it. Waiter does not understand Indian Cusine.

We went for dinner9/27/23 I ordered the Halibut goan curry it awful.

A long story short I vomit and had very case of diarrhea. When I arrived home still was sick and not well at all. I feel like I got food poison.

I spoke manager had no empathy and no one else got sick he would speak with cook back which he never did.

The next someone name Claudia called said they refund one of the two fish. I will never good back again and will recommend Rasika to any one.

Rasika is truly one of the finer Modern Indian restaurants around. It's my happy place, and having spent so many hours with their cookbook recreating my favorites it's always nice to let them do the cooking for a change! And they did almost as well as I do!

Palahniuk chaat is a must but so is virtually everything on the menu! Dal makhini is sooo good too. Just go and go hungry!

Would give a 4.5 if I could. Food is great, that's a 5, but this place is so loud, don't come here if you want to talk to your dinner party, or maybe come here if you don't want to talk to your dinner party.

The food was absolutely delicious but this is a place one needs to have a reservation to come have dinner at. It is very busy but the staff is quick and accommodating. The plates are fairly priced and a good size, I would say they are plates best ordered to share (tapas style). Their drinks are also good. The location is not as fancy or modern as the other Rasika location but it definitely smells better and the ratings in this location are better as well.

My first time here and the food was incredible! A little on the pricey side; however, this is DC where everything is expensive so it wasn't really sticker shock for me.

One of my teammates loves Indian food so she picked the place and it did not disappoint. I would definitely eat here again.

Foodwise we ordered the signature spinach appetizer (palak chaat), tandoori chicken tikka and garlic naan. It was probably the best Indian food I've ever had, not that I'm an expert, but it was excellent. Service was also excellent and waiters were very attentive to us. We had leftover and they boxed it up for us before going home.

Love this place every time I go. I always make sure I order the rice pudding since it's so unique compared to the usual.
