Respect to Dr. Coston and his team. My experience was great and felt like I was in good hands throughout the process.

Dr. Coston and his staff were absolutely fantastic! I know it's shocking to hear that about getting a root canal but it's true. As I was getting numb, I overheard this woman in the chair next to me being overly dramatic and extremely rude to the Doctor. She obviously had a lot of personal anxiety and was taking it out on Dr. Coston. I overheard him being so patient with her and trying to calm her down. When he was finished with her and came to begin treatment on me, I was so pleased with his bed side manner. He didn’t allow this women to effect him in anyway. He was very profession, alleviated all of my concerns and even cracked a few jokes! My root canal was completely pain free and the total time for the procedure was pretty quick. I know getting a root canal isn’t always ideal, but if you need one, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Coston.

Easiest dental procedure of my life. Efficient and pain free. Can’t wait to go back to have another tooth done.

I expect my care provider to listen to my concerns. Dr. Coston needs to improve in bedside manner and patient care. To not have proper sensitivity towards a patient that is upset and to react in an incredulous and dismissive way (consistently laughing at what I am saying as well as looking shocked and confused as if what I am currently experiencing and have previously experienced as a patient is unfathomable) is not appropriate or comforting to me as a patient. It does not instill confidence that I would receive adequate medical care. As was evidenced when I told him directly to stop patronizing and speaking down to me after he told me “take a breath. " That sentence was rude and belittling. To have to tell a doctor that I have the right to express concerns about my health shows that Dr. Coston is lacking in empathy.

RCT Endodontics gets 5 stars plus two thumbs up from me! I had a really great experience! Chayne Coston DDS and his staff were extremely courteous, attentive, professional, informative, and excellent at what they do! They provided a atmosphere that put me at ease immediately! I received two root canals at this practice in December 2018 from Dr. Coston. My first visit was pleasant and Dr. Coston was thorough in explaining the procedures. However, both root canals were slow in healing and were constantly causing me pain. I went back to see Dr. Coston several times regarding the issues with both root canals not properly healing. He recommended a night guard which did help a bit. I began to see some improvement and healing in one tooth. However, my dentist recently did a cleaning and found on my X-rays that one tooth that was treated by Dr. Coston was still infected. I called to make a follow up with RCT as I was told by Dr. Coston in my last appointment that since he performed the root canal, any issues would not incur an additional charge since they both had been slow to heal since 2018. However, I was told two days before my appointment that it would be considered a consult and not a follow up due to the timeframe of the initial root canal procedures. I informed the office manager Rihanna that this is not what was communicated to me by Dr. Coston in my last appointment. I was finally able to speak to Dr. Coston today over the phone (the day of my appointment as I was driving to the office) to explain my concerns about the inconsistent information I was being given by his office and what he told me at my last appointment. He listened as I communicated my concerns about the situation. However, Dr. Coston was defensive, hostile, and unprofessional when speaking to me. I was surprised by his reaction since I was speaking in a calm manner. For example, he made a comment that I was “coming in hot”. I thought he was talking about me coming in for my appointment today with pain but he clarified that he was referring to my “energy”. I was shocked that he spoke to me, a patient, in this manner. I informed him that his statements were unprofessional and he said “they are unprofessional to you! ”. He also mentioned that he was busy with other patients in which I replied, we are all busy but this conversation is important. I couldn’t believe that Dr. Coston was trying to justify his deplorable actions. Due to his aggressive behavior, I declined to come in for my appointment even though I was literally on the rode driving to his office. I made a complaint with his office manager who was in the room during our phone call. I am also filing a formal complaint to the medical board. I suggest that if anyone has dealt with this same behavior from Dr. Coston to do the same.

As good as a root canal could possibly go, thank you! Quickest and most painless one I’ve ever had. RCT is highly skilled and were able to take my case despite tooth placement and other difficulties that other dentists/endos turned me away because of. Would highly recommend RCT for your root canal needs!

This was the best experience I’ve had with a dentist, orthodontic, or anything else related to dental work. Staff and doctor were professional and explained the whole process. The root canal did not hurt at all. Highly recommend.

Dr. Coston is second to none in his craft! I have long roots and he performed my root canal in less than ten minutes with no pain. I waited longer for the anesthesia to kick in. He is warm, communicates throughout he procedure so that you are clear about what is happening, and he cares about your comfort, both during and after the procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone who has dreaded a root canal.

Outstanding. My root canal was painless as promised! My anxiety was on level 10 but Dr. Cotson and his staff did an excellent job with calming my nerves and talking me through the procedure.

The dental receptionist made it a point to walk through my benefits and explained the exact cost that I would have out of pocket.

From the office receptionist Johanna to the dental assistant to the Endodontics dentist, everyone was so nice and welcoming and helpful. No one likes getting a root canal or really any dentistry work so it’s nice to have people that are pleasant to be around. Also the dentist let me know step by step what he was about to do and made sure I was comfortable. If you have to have dental surgery or anything like that I would highly recommend this office.

I’m barely out the door and I have to give Dr. Coston & his team their flowers. It has been the absolute best experience from the customer service & prep, to care during & post the procedure. Quality and comfort is a priority here.

Dr. Coston is so down to earth and very much an expert in his field. He made sure I understood everything that was taking place and all of my options. Most importantly he was quick and thorough with the procedure. I would highly recommend!
