This review is for their Curbside Kitchen (food truck).

Mac and cheese was unbearable. Do not order.

Potato salad was tolerable but nothing special.

Pork was okay and brisket was good.

I recently purchased one pound of chopped barbecue and a slab of ribs. I was shocked to find no smoked or barbeque "taste" in the food. It seemed as if they cooked it in a regular stove and gave it to me.

I returned to the restaurant and talk with management and addressed my concerns. They were not apologetic, did not try to show me what I should have received. I asked for a sample, thinking that perhaps, I had received a "bad" batch. The gentleman said that there was nothing that they could do. He did not seem sympathetic as all.

I am VERY disappointed in both the food and the customer service! If you want REAL barbeque, Rowlands on Wisconsin Avenue is NOT the place to go.

Place starting to get a little rundown after many years.

Smell of bbq hits you the second you walk in the door. Great food, highly recommend the brisket

I had high hopes for this place. I checked reviews and looked at ratings and I was highly upset with what I got. The ribs was terrible. No seasoning on it. Mac and cheese was terrible and I didn’t even try the bake beans because was highly upset. If you are looking for true bbq this is not the place. Everything was bland.

When my inlaws visit from Italy they always insist on loading up with Rocklands Barbeque, believe me, these Italians are hard to please! We didn't dine in this time but the food and service were exceptional as always.

Everything that i have ordered from this spot has been delicious. You would not be disappointed. I normally order the three meat platter, the grilled salmon salad, or the hot Italian sausage sandwich w/ peppers and onions on a pretzel roll. 10/10 would recommend.

The pork ribs were amazingly tender and had a great flavor. The sides were great. Top notch BBQ.

Chill atmosphere to enjoy some great BBQ! Excellent thin sliced bbq beef brisket! The pulled bbq chicken was good, a little dry but add some bbq and good to go! Great baby back ribs! The mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and fried yucca great sides! The service was excellent and very helpful!

If you have not tried Rocklands, add this to your bucket list! Amazing food that always satisfies!

Their beef ribs are but make up for it by being massive, one rib is almost a meal by itself.

Only complaint is the two side orders for the beef rib platter are on the small side.

The food was fantastic and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! The homemade lemonade and sweet tea was great. Will definitely return next time I visit DC!
