Roti, Washington DC

A good budget place to enjoy the delicious food bowls. I tried rice with salmon and flafel with topping of salad, sauces and tortilla chips. The tortilla chips were crushed really small, my recommendation will be to have them a bit bigger because then the they taste better with all the sauces.

We had a very poor experience here, food was cold and bland, service was non existence, bathrooms disgusting!

Staying down the street and needed to eat healthy and savory, this is yhe place, service was outstanding and friendly.

We had a falafel pita and falafel bowl for lunch here and it was very good. Fresh and testy ingredients. Clean place, plenty of seating inside and service was good.

Think Chick-fil-A service but less forced and with actual healthy food. This replaces chipotle as the healthy fast food chain. Think of this place as helping you maintain a healthy diet while travelling. I was in DC for training a couple of weeks ago. It tastes healthy. Not a lot of fat and low salt. If you like Mediterranean food that has way more veggies than a shawarma or kebab, this is the place. I was also super impressed by this locations team and how they handled the lunch crowd surge. The manager was also super attentive and welcoming. I wish we had this place on the west coast. Will definitely visit again if I'm in town.

They were all so friendly and helpful. The bowl was delicious! I have recommended to a friend and he loved it too!
Pity is that I couldn't give a virtual tip. Just cash is possible. They should change it.

Tasty alternative to typical fast food, but definitely not top tier. A sort of slightly Indian/Mediterranean take on Chipotle.

Solid three stars. Is the A/C broken here? Had saffron rice, salmon, red cabbage, beets topped with feta and garlic sauce. The black tea + mandarin cardamom is good. On the down side, their salmon had too many inedible cancer causing black parts. See pic.

This place is bomb. First time trying and I will definitely go back. DC has a lot to offer. Try this place to get some good Mediterranean food. Love the flavor. As you can see the sandwich is good for the go. Try it.

Unfortunately my sister got serious food poisoning after eating here. I would like to think it was a fluke, but I would not recommend

Amazing! Bought the I dream of tahini bowl and I am in love! The red sauce has a kick and the tahini is savory! The falafel is moist and delicious. Wish this were at home!

Five years later still the best deal in DC. I only order the bowls with chicken or salmon. So delicious. A true fast and good food choice. Try the cauliflower rice. Highly recommended. Highly.

Great choices for salads/bowl/wrap, rice (including riced cauliflower), freshly grilled protein (salmon, chicken, falafel, etc.).

Food was delicious and the service was superb! I apologize for misspelling their names, but Nawani and Tina were great hosts! I will be coming back.

This was my first time at Roti. I thought the food and idea was genius, similar to Chipotle. You go up to the ordering area and can pick out your food, mine was ready in less than a minute! The sauces were great, and the food was fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the vegetables and the chicken. The only part of my meal that I didn’t enjoy was the falafel because I thought that it wasn’t crispy enough. Other than that, I highly recommend Roti for anyone craving some good mediterranean food!

First time at Roti! Absolutely superb! So many spices, options, and flavor! Extremely fresh!

I went with a rice bowl, with spicy beef, mixed vegetables, cucumber and tomatoes, feta cheese, and 2 sauces.

The gentleman who put it all together for me was quick, kind, and just had a wonderful personality. Awesome teamwork at the kitchen/counter.

Roti was absolutely delicious! It has great fresh food and you can build your own bowl. They have gluten free "pita" (it was more just a soft flat bread) and great options. The workers were really nice and the store was clean.

I love the service so much. The lady working here was soooooo nice with me, making sure I understand the menu, how everything works, and before I left, she asked me again how was my food and asked me to be careful because she just cleaned the floor. I appreciate so much when employees go above and beyond.

Now let me tell you about the food. Finally, I was able to eat a bow on my trip to DC. This was a GOOD BOWL! I choose the one with hummus and falafel that was fried right at the moment in front of me, it can not get any fresher than this.

My son got the one that he chose what to put on it. He did wonderful and the taste of both bowls was awesome.

The amount were more than enough for us to take for dinner.

Prices are totally ok and this place have 3 different seating areas: downstairs, upstairs, and outside.
