Sami’s Hot Dog Cart, Washington DC

A group of 20 of us came to Sami’s after a long run and he was so kind and accommodated all of us and quickly (we called ahead to give him warning). The hot dogs were so tasty and Sami took the time to explain the options to each of us. Many people got back in line for a second dog! Highly recommend and I will be back.

The hot dogs were very good, we ordered one with spicy sausage with everything and one with regular sausage with chilli and cheese, I know it's just a hot dog but the flavor of the chilli and sausage is delicious. Sami was very kind and gave me a bun and lollipops for my daughters… I only suggest improving your cart.

You can choose the toppings according to your preference.
Because the owner, Semi, is really, really kind.
You answer the questions well.

The special thing is that there are so many toppings that it may be difficult to eat.

The cost, not including tip, comes to about $9 including drinks. Eat this when you buy a set at a McDonald's nearby.

Wow! Sami is so kind hearted and takes care of you with great attention. The chili cheese dogs are really good, especially the spicy one!

Sami was amazing! Just like advertised, he is the best. Got a second dog because it was so good! Check it out! All the fixings and service with a smile.

The best, most delicious hot dog - we went back for another! Also Sami is SO friendly and I loved that he gives out hand sanitiser when you order. Definitely recommend

Delicious street hot dog, it is worth walking 2 blocks outside the Mall and avoiding those food trucks to eat this authentic chillie.

Very kind. He asked me what kind of sauce I wanted to put on it, and when I said I didn't know, he put a lot on it. A little spicy but delicious

This dog hits the spot. Sami whips up a dog with all the fixings you'd like, from chili cheese, onion, relish, mustard, sauerkraut, and everything in between. He does it with joy and kindness. Get the spicy dog for an extra kick. Such a tasty comfort food! We paid $7 for each dog.

Best hotdog I've ever had. I came based off the reviews and was NOT dissapointed. 5 minute walk from the air and space museum or the metro. Sami was super nice and LITERALLY PSYCHIC. I loved the first hotdog so much I decided to try a second with different toppings and he already knew exactly which toppings I wanted before I even spoke. Magical experience. I've never felt brand loyalty to a hot dog place before, but I do now. Sami for life.

Sami was awesome! His food was even better! Hot dog bun and the dog were fresh and full of flavor! I'm not normally big on a loaded dog. (I hate onions) But hot Damm that was a freaking amazing fully loaded hot dog!
10/10 recommend and will return again!

It's so delicious and it's only 5 dollars. It's very cheap by American standards. Be sure to go. The guy is really kind.
