Their buffet is heaven. I went to their sunday brunch for the first time and I can’t believe I haven’t been before. It’s an all you can eat buffet with everything you can think of: pasta, tacos, crab, sushi, paella, dumplings…
They have a vast variety of desert and even milkshakes. I wish I had a picture of my plates but the food was too good to stop and take a picture! The drinks were great. The service was amazing too! I will definitely be back especially when the outdoor patio is open!

The service received was AWESOME! I went for their New Year’s brunch, and it was perfect. My reservation was at 11 am. The 2 ladies at the front desk were amazing. It was my first time going to Sequoia, and my gps kept throwing off my arrival time and directions, but the young ladies were very patient and professional when I called asking for directions. I kept hearing people saying "wow" every time they walked towards the buffet area. They had a spread of food from almost every continent except for Africa. The buffet was a little bit pricey but well worth it because there were a lot of options to choose from. Hopefully, next year, some African food will be added to the menu. I look forward to many more brunches at Sequoia.

Nice restaurant. Cool waterfront view. Good service. Try the weekend brunch. Both Saturday and Sunday brunch are basically all you can eat, but whereas the Saturday brunch is plated, the Sunday brunch is buffet style. As far as DC brunch goes, it was a bit on the pricier side but the food taste good and there were many options. Dessert could be a tad better though. I would definitely go again.

Brought in New Year's Eve with the Sunday Brunch with the family, I must say it was a 10out of 10! Very overwhelmed by the different arrays of food choices. Everything was cooked to perfection, will return for my Birthday brunch later this Month! Bravo guys!

Sequoia's Sunday brunch is ALWAYS delicious and immense! So, I decided to try their Saturday brunch. On Saturday, it's a tapas brunch. The food was also good and unlike on Sunday's, the food is brought to your table and there is a menu to select from.
Do yourself a favor and have George as your Server; he is FANTASTIC! Lucky for us, he works on Saturdays and Sundays. George insures you have a dining experience that is amazing and your glass is never empty.

I come to this location often, the shrimp cocktail always hits. This last time I also ordered the snow crabs and they were impossible to eat, fell apart inside the shell so idk if it’s the quality or the age of the crab but for the price it was not worth it. The seabass wasn’t that good either, I didn’t finish my meal. But the decorations for the holidays are really nice! For dessert, don’t get the meringue.

I do not offer 5 reviews often, so you can be assured that this is the spot! There is nothing like an elegant brunch at Sequoia. Sergio has waited on us nearly every visit and he is the epitome of professionalism and seeing to our needs as a guest. The food is wonderful and covers just about anything your palate desires. We have visited Sequoia five times and the service has only gotten better. Compared to other brunch spots in the DMV, repeated visits gave way sharp declines in food quality and service. This has not been the case at Sequoia. In fact, I would argue that the service has gotten better and better with each visit. Please do not be put off by the cost.it is worth every! Sequoia has my highest recommendation for anyone looking to for an elevated brunch! Sergio should be advanced to Chief of Guest Services.

We have a company holiday catering event here. It's always great. Huge shrimp and different types of steaks.

I was impressed by the breakfast offerings which were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Dined on Saturday for a Birthday celebration. George was our host, such a gentleman and experienced server. I recommend this Brunch with excellent holiday decorations and food to match.
I'm a seasoned Washingtonion who remembers when this restaurant was average at best. Congratulations to the current Staff and Management.

I will return again but NOT during Sunday’s brunch. It was too crowded but the food was good. Lines were long and I couldn’t taste everything due to the long lines. The crab cakes and shrimp & grits were my favorite in addition to the homemade milkshakes.

Highly recommend the Sunday buffet brunch! My favorites were the lobster bisque and the smoked salmon, pasta, and sushi stations. There’s options for everyone so great for allergies or dietary restrictions.

The tapas selection was amazing. The staff was fast and friendly. The scenery is breath taking.

I chose Sequoia DC to propose to my fiancée las night! I discreetly gave the guest receiving host, Charmaine, a heads up of my intentions and she immediately let me know that they would look out for us. When the big moment came, Charmaine led us to the best view in the house for me to propose. It was absolutely beautiful! The entire restaurant cemented our special night with a champagne toast and dessert. I am so glad I chose this beautiful restaurant and that their friendly staff helped to make this an unforgettable night for both of us! Thank you so very much!

The food has always been very good. On this day I got the burger. The fries are decadent, almost double fried.

The whole staff was great and very attentive, food was great as well! Will definitely recommend and plan on going back
