Seyed Babak Kalantar, MD reviews
20Doctor listened to everything I had to say. Nice and professional. Would recommend to anyone.
Dr. Kalantar, Michaela Guild, and honestly the entirety of their staff are amazing. I received great care both before and after surgery. I have recommended him and would again in the future.
Dr Kalantar listens to you, ask questions, and performs tests. He shows you X-rays and MRI results, explains the findings in understandable words. He explains what will solve the diagnosis and risks of surgery. He has great nurse practitioners that prepare you for surgery if that is your decision. I am six weeks after my back surgery, no pain and nerves and muscles are rejuvenating. He is my miracle worker to walk pain free.
Well it’s always been a pleasure having Dr Kalantar as my Orthopedic Surgeon. He’s just one of the best. If you’re looking for a Dr that’s caring, polite, professional, knowledgeable, brilliant and kind, always listening and ready to get to the bottom of every of your concerns. Then you’re in the right place. I’m honored to vogue for this Dr anytime. When you come outta network to see someone. That alone should sum it up
I am so glad I found this doctor. Dr. Kalantar listened to my words very carefully and answered all my questions, and finally I performed Laminectomy and Fusion surgery for my lower back.
It was very successful surgery, and now I'm healthy and active.
Thank you Thank you Dear Doctor
My neurologist highly recommended Dr Kalantar for the problem with my neck that ended up being a pinched nerve in C5-C7 that required a fusion. Dr Kalantar was great as he took the time to go thru my MRI with me and discussed how he planned to fix the problem, the surgery success rate and the recovery timeline. The surgery went very well, no pain and the hospital staff handled the process like clockwork and in the blink of an eye it was done. I also highly recommend Dr Kalantar!
Dr. Kalantar is very knowledgeable and professional in his work. I had no complications after surgery and his diagnosis was on point from cure to recovery.
He is a professional who really understands his craft as well as the social/emotional components of his patients needs. Strongly recommend him.
After meeting with six neck surgeons, I had neck surgery with Dr. Kalantar at the end of January 2023. He's an extremely skillful and compassionate doctor, and a great communicator in terms of explaining why you need the surgery. I also liked him a lot as a person. I've found that male doctors tend to stand when speaking with female patients and to kind of loom over them, even when asked to please take a seat. Dr. Kalantar almost always immediately sits down to have a chat, which I find very reassuring. His staff is responsive and communicative. I only wish Georgetown Hospital were better organized.
Dr. Kalantar is an excellent doctor! He took his time and explained
everything to us. I would definitely recommend him to my friends
and family!
He is personable and did a great job on my L2-3-4 spinal fusion. He spends a good amount of time with you during appointments and explains everything very well. His staff is great and they runan efficient office. I highly recommend Dr. Kalantar.
I never thought I would have spine surgery. After four years of terrible leg pain that eventually lead to weakness and numbness, I knew the need for surgery was inevitable. I met with four different spine surgeons over the course of six months before choosing to have Dr Kalantar perform my 3 level lumbar fusion. Dr Kalantar and his team were awesome. In addition to being an amazing surgeon, Dr Kalantar is a wonderful person. He makes you feel valued and cared for as a human being. This was very important to me. Spine surgery is scary. Dr Kalantar and his team made me feel comfortable and cared for at every visit. They are genuinely great people who care a great deal about their patients.
If you need spine surgery, you will be in great hands with this team.
It was a good experience but the wait was long I had an appointment at 1: 45 the doctor did not see me until 3: 40
Dr. Kalantar was incredible. I had been struggling with lower back pain for the better part of three years. Thanks to Dr. Kalantar, I can now start getting back to my old routine! Thank you, Dr. Kalantar.
Dr. Kalantar is the best of the best. I trust him explicitly. His experience is impressive. Would not go to any other surgeon. He made me feel so comfortable and he knew exactly what the cause of my pain was. Good job doc.
Was relived to get a quick appointment with Dr. Kalantar. He did a thorough exam and suggested the best course of treatment.
Dr. Kalantar listened to exactly what I was saying and addressed each concern and question with calm knowledge and expertise. He is outstanding as a care giver and a person.
Dr Kalantar is great and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because I waited almost 1 hour to be seen. That is somewhat inexcusable to me.
Dr. K was knowledgeable and very articulate, beyond spines. He discussed my hip and possibly related spine issues in plain language. And he was kind.
C4/5 fusion surgery (12/2021) went well. I would describe Dr Kalantar as very knowledgable, experienced, competent and easy to talk to. He explains his analysis very well in easy to understand terms. His office staff is also easy to work with and friendly as well. I recommend him and would use him again.
